The food was amazing the servers were just as amazing. My wife and I will b coming back we enjoyed it so much!!!

Archive for the fond memories : We eat either lunch or dinner here once a week. I like several items: the Reuben, tenderloin, grown up grilled cheese, tater tots, salads, hamburgers, all good! We love the hometown style casual atmosphere. If you were here b4 pandemic come back and be impressed by the updated dining room and fresh staff!

Driving home to Wisconsin from Clarinda Iowa and we had to stop in riverside because one of the guys in our group is a nerd so after the Star Trek museum we stopped here to eat. Cute little place. Had a couple of locals in there. We ordered our food and the helpings are very generous. I think 4 of the 5 of us took food home with them. My husband got the Ruben and he said it was one of the best he’s had. Great place to eat. They said they just reopened. So glad we didn’t try earlier.

Super 3 cheese cheeseburger was fantastic.
Fries were crisp and awesome.
Cold beer in a frosted glass topped it off.

I was visiting and found out they have an Amazing Pork tenderloin sandwich. It was delicious

Wonderful small town bar and grill. Excellent food, reasonable prices and friendly staff.

This was probably the best rueben sandwich I have had in 15 years. Large portions, and quick considering how many of us were there all at once.

Lovely bar with a casual and welcoming atmosphere. One of the bartenders has a firefighter son who traded patches with me! Plus, Captain Kirk will be conceived there in a couple hundred years

Over the top service. My waitress was great needed help and she was right there to help us out as needed. Food was fantastic. The place was clean the food was delicious.

I had a Cheeseburger and cheese curds, and it was so good. I couldnt finish the Cheese curds 😭. But The Staff (and local patrons) were some of the friendliest people I've ever met! If you're in town, Murphy's is the place to eat!

Great smoked pork chops... so big. Nice side of veggies, crisp and delicious. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend.

Went to this place on a whim on a road trip. EASILY the best burger I've ever had. Friendly staff too!

Food was very good and service was great!...glad they are back open, their menu for brunch tomorrow looks great, we might go some time!...Wish them well!

I visited town for the Trek themed sites. I was hungry and it was lunchtime so this seemed like a natural place to eat.
The lone waitress/bartender seemed a bit overworked with the lunch crowd, but she was polite and as attentive as possible. I ordered a double burger with fries. The food was good. If you order the double, you better be hungry. It's big.
If I'm in the area again, I'll look forward to lunch at Murphy's

He had The Rachel & I had the Murphy Melt, both of us had the cottage cheese, I had a rootbeer and he had a raspberry tea. Great service!

I've had the steak and on several occasions, the blackened salmon. Most delicious every time! Prices quite reasonable. Star Trek fans will appreciate the connection - past and future!!

Comforting food, always great service and it's great to have a place of this quality close for those of us 'out here' (anywhere that isn't in Iowa City/Coralville)! Their lasagna is tasty, tenderloins are definitely a cut above the rest as they are sourced from the local butcher just down the road.
