Carle Rheumatology

Dr. Mehwish Khan has provided excellent care and encouragement for my husband. She was well aware of his previous care (at an out of state teaching hospital) but listened to our questions and concerns. We are so grateful to have found such an excellent rheumatologist locally. Plus, this is such a kind lady.

I had a good experience with Dr Rasheed. His assistant took a lengthy and detailed history and Dr Rasheed provided me with a diagnosis. The facility is well run and organized. I liked that the lab is in the same building. I am a little disappointed that Dr Rasheed did not provide a treatment plan. His Carle web page specifically says he specializes in connective tissue disorders so I was expecting a little more than just a diagnosis. Hopefully my primary can work out a treatment plan. Dr Rasheed had a caring bedside manner and I do plan to return if needed.

Dr. Jain was my best friends rheumatologist and we will not be returning. she did not listen, got angry when I chimed in to remind my friend of a symptom she was experiencing, preformed blood and urine tests and did not talk about the results besides telling her what she DIDN'T have and was unable to tell her why she’s in so much pain and didn’t schedule a follow up for more examinations, questioning, or testing. She only payed attention to part of my friends pain and sent her to physical therapy but only for part of her body (not everywhere that hurts.) We left the appointment in tears because she told my friend there was nothing seriously wrong with her even though it is clear that something is happening that shouldn’t be.

Felt very rushed through appt. Did not seem interested in learning about past issues. Dr.Jain obviously had not read my chart at all when I arrived. Feel like I have no where to turn when having flare ups. I will not be returning to see her again.
