Crossfit Crystal Lake

I walked into Crossfit Crystal Lake a year ago, and can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I have always been involved with team sports and training, and when that was over with, I was getting very bored and it was hard to find the motivation to go to the Globo Gym everyday. In comes Crossfit Crystal Lake! The coaches are great and take the time to explain skills, help with technique, and encourage members to do their best. They love what they do! Not only are the coaches great, but the supportive community of the gym helps you get through those tough workouts! If you want to work hard and have a good time, I would recommend this place to anyone.

After years at the local healthcare system-owned gym and other places, I've found the best physical and mental challenges at Crossfit Crystal Lake. It really is tailored to your own needs and wants but the small, supportive environment keeps you motivated. I have loved watching other members meet and surpass their goals, only to find new ones to challenge them. There's a reason it's not the cheapest "gym" out there - it's much more than a gym, and great health is worth every penny.

Crossfit Crystal Lake is above and beyond an amazing gym.

I’ve tried any number of gyms throughout my years... Lifetime, Centegra, Anytime, and others. But CFCL “raises the bar” above and beyond the others.

The owner, Joe, has always been absolutely awesome to work with and it shows. He not only believes highly in his gym, but his community as well.

The coaches, Joe, Jesse, Ryan and Troy are the ones I’ve worked with so far and are above and beyond the gold standard of coaches/mentors/trainers.

They bring a lot to the table and their instruction is easy to understand and will work with you on anything you may or may not be comfortable with.

This gym is next level and absolutely worth giving a shot. They have an amazing community, exceptional trainers, and you always get a workout you’ll be proud of.

As a “definitely needs work” 43 year old, I was a little skeptical about this style of workout, and concerned about working out with such exceptional athletes. After your first session you’ll at CFCL you’ll understand why the Crossfit community is crazy awesome. The folks their are extremely welcoming and supportive of anyone on any fitness level.

Give this place a shot. You won’t regret it.

I am admittedly NOT a physical all-star, but I still feel like I am welcomed with open arms every time I enter the door of Crossfit Crystal Lake. All the members are fantastic and the coaches are awesome! The programming can be scaled to accommodate all physical ability levels so that the workouts are attainable for everyone. Come try out Crossfit Crysta Lake; you won't regret it!!!

I joined 3 years ago and loved it! They are very knowledgable, motivating and friendly. Since moving states I have not been able to find a CrossFit I like as much as I like CrossFit Crystal Lake. I still visit from time to time because I miss the people and the atmosphere so much. If you are looking to get in shape CrossFit Crystal Lake will help. I lost 15 lbs and 2 pants sizes going 2-3 times a week. I highly recommend you try CrossFit Crystal Lake!

The coaches are the best around. They take the time to understand what you want and help assist you to achieve each goal. They really care about you and make a point to celebrate your goals and accomplishments. The programming is very much geared towards the members and they always have a scaled option for movements you are not quite ready to do.

The members are the best!! I've meet some amazing people here. There is no better feeling than when you are fighting during a workout and a member next to you is yelling your name to keep going. CrossFit itself is a one of a kind community to be apart of, CFCL is the best gym in the Algonquin/LITH/Crystal Lake/Cary area.

This place is amazing!!!. The coaches are very good and very excited about the program. They love what they do and love helping new comers. I love the work out that's provided. It's enjoyable. I would highly recommended it if you love working out or want to lose weight or just change how you look.

My favorite this about CrossFit is that you always have a community. CrossFit crystal lake is the place that taught me that. The workouts are great the motivation to come back is even better. You won't regret it.

I absolutely love this place! From the people to the workouts to the general atmosphere...I always feel welcome. Whether I am having an off day and need an extra push or I am on my A game and want people in my corner to celebrate a PR, the community and coaches here always have my back!

So here's the deal...any place you go that is new is going to be a little intimidating, especially a crossfit box. Get over that and give it a shot, especially at Crossfit Crystal Lake where I have never felt out of place and have met some really genuine people. What are you waiting for!!!!
