Jason is the best tour guide. He narrated the tour and kept us all interested in the scenery and history of the area. The trees were just starting to turn but we got beautiful pictures for our memory books. The boat was so comfortable the ride was pleasant from beginning to end. Our entire group from lower Michigan enjoyed the tour immensely. Thank you, Jason.

This was our second boat tour with Jason and we had an absolute blast! The natural beauty is fantastic alone, and to be able to see it from these unique views is priceless. All of this coupled with Jason’s great knowledge of the area makes it a memorable and must-do activity. For our first tour we got to see the Jacobsville sandstone cliffs and multiple lighthouses. On this tour we departed Copper Harbor, viewed three historic lighthouses, saw Gull Rock, and got to hike Manitou Island! Seeing the Keweenaw from this perspective is a must! Can’t wait for next time!

Our family traveled from Kansas City this week and one of the highlights of our trip was this 2 hour pontoon boat tour! Captian Jason has experience on the water as a tour boat captain but also has been part of the coast guard! His tour combines a wealth of knowledge with humor, relaxation and incredible views! His tour also covers the Houghton area to Jacobsville overview, which is further than some of the other tours in the area. Thank you Captain Jason for such an enjoyable experience!

We were in Houghton to drop our Husky off at Tech. Grandma came along this time and we wanted to do something fun with her. This was perfect! We took the sunset cruise. Jason gave us a lot of interesting facts along with good conversation. He made us feel comfortable, like we were good friends. It was windy that night and he took appropriate precautions to keep us safe but still have an enjoyable cruise. The scenery was beautiful the ride was relaxing. We even brought our dog, Luna. We had a great time and plan to cruise with him again!

We went with Jason on a Fall Leaves boat tour of Keweenaw Bay. Even though it was a bit rainey, we were all game. He is the greatest guide. He was very knowledge about the local history and the water. He took us as far as the Lake Superior which was thrilling. The picture is of Seagull Island. I recommend him as a guide and will go out again in the future.

Jason’s warm and welcoming nature instantly put us at ease. He shared fascinating stories about the area showing us the Jacobsville Lighthouse, incredible sandstone cliffs, and much more.

The boat was comfy and the ride was smooth. The tour was well-planned, giving us plenty of time at each stop to soak in the sights.

Captain Jason gave us a great cruise out to the Jacobsville Lighthouse and a bit more. The weather was a little iffy, but he was totally focused on our safety and comfort. No surprise that he's a former U.S. Coast Guard chief. When he saw my wife's big camera and lens, he went out of his way to help her get great shots of the flora, fauna, and other scenic sights along the way, including eagles. He clearly loves the Keweenaw Peninsula and Lake Superior, and knows a lot about local mining, maritime, and fishing history, as well as the best places to enjoy locally caught whitefish and lake trout, and locally brewed beers. His boat was sound and he was unfailingly professional, good-natured, and cordial at the helm.

Jason was a rockstar! He is knowledgeable and entertaining. We had such a good time on our Fall Colors Tour and got to see a bald eagle, Lake Superior, and the gorgeous fall colors. Highly recommend booking with him.

The tour was awesome. He made sure we were comfortable with blankets or life vests. Jason also made sure that the weather wasn't going to effect the tour. Can't wait to go on another tour next time I'm in houghton

If you are in the area and trying to explore Keweenaw, start with this awesome private boat tour. Our captain Jason was very cool, attentive and informative! The views from the boat were breathtaking, seeing bald eagles just chilling on top of trees was amazing! Highly recommend!

Had a great time in perfect weather to see the south shore of the Keweenaw Peninsula from lLac LaBelle to Keystone Bay. Amazing scenery and the owner has a great personality and plenty of good tidbits for information on the cruise sights. Will definitely do this again!

Family members and friends shared a very enjoyable, two-hour tour with us this morning. Captain Jason took us to the breakwaters of Lake Superior and was very personable and informative about what we were seeing. As we neared the open waters of Mother Superior, we were enclosed in morning fog; slowly the lighthouse at the breakers came into view. We took extra moments there for photos. It was extra special to see it like this. Thank you so much for this, Captain Jason. We'll be making future reservations with you.

Captain Jason was amazing! He was very accommodating and when our trip got canceled due to weather, he was kind enough to take us out the next day. He ensured we were comfortable the whole trip and he was very knowledgeable. We were able to bring our two dogs with us and he made sure they were comfortable and safe as well. Cannot say enough good things about Jason and Keweenaw Boat Tours, was the highlight of our trip to the Keweenaw Peninsula. My family of 4 including two toddlers booked a last minute lighthouse tour and highly recommend it. Jason spent 20 years in the coast guard (Thank You for your service!) and he knows boating, safety, and the Keweenaw area extremely well. Super nice guy, awesome with the kids, and we instantly felt like we knew him for years. The trip was never boring and what a cool perspective to see the lighthouses from the water instead of land. Thanks again Jason and we hope to be back on board with you again in the future.

Captain Jason was great! Brand new comfortable pontooon. Went on a 3 hr cruise and saw a lot of the bay and lake. Gave us a lot of info and history! Highly recommend this special way to see the area.

One of the best boats tours Ive been on so far. Captain Jason was the best from the time of booking and through the trip. He fully took care of the booking i made fro start to finish. The trip was filled with gorgeous scenery and local history. Both boats are accommodating and the ability to bring your own drinks and snacks was really nice as well.
