Omg this place was so unique. The pizza had a unique cracker crust. We had the Greek Pizza with sausage added. It was delicious. The beer selection was good. Lots of local beers.

We loved the ambiance of this bar and restaurant. They have an extensive drink menu and some unique menu items, including unique pizza choices.

The restaurant was very accommodating to a large group. We had about 15 in our group.

We highly recommend this establishment.

Stopped here for lunch and enjoyed a very tasty meal. The service was prompt, the restrooms clean, and the atmosphere welcoming. I had the Chicken sandwich with cheese, and it was amazing! My husband ordered the Nachos Grande and said it was delicious. Our daughter had the 10" Chicken Garlic pizza and said she would get it again! Coffee was fresh and hot.

Very cool place to eat! The murals are amazing, and the atmosphere is so fun. Our server, Paul, was really great, and right on top of getting us what we wanted. We also purchased a couple of the copper cups! The food was excellent. I had a small serving of ravioli, which is perfect if u don't eat a lot. My husband had a Reuben, he said it was really good. This is really a restaurant you want to check out!!

A true Houghton classic! The Ambassador creates consistently amazing pizza. The quesadilla pizza is unbelievable! The tostada is always a great choice. We get the lobster pizza once in a while too. The sausage is super good too – it has a slight clove or nutmeg taste like a lot of the other sausage pizzas in the Keweenaw. A great atmosphere for couples, families, large groups. Can't wait until our next pizza order!

First we stopped in for a few drinks and an app. We sat at the bar where Sawyer was the bartender who took care of us. He did such a good job, such a good job in fact that we choose to come back for lunch later in the week. When we came for lunch we had Paul as our server. He did an amazing job and made sure we’re were very well taken care of. The sandwiches we ate for lunch were so yummy and very affordable. Then not only was food and service amazing but the atmosphere of the bar was extraordinary, the design was so unique and beautiful.

Went there twice. There seems to always be a short wait but food and drinks are great and prices are affordable. We had a good time and good service. Thank you!

We have been in town for 4 days and have been to this restaurant 3 of the days. Killer good and atmosphere. The staff is super friendly.

the best pasta i have ever had!! i tried the pesto pasta and it was tasty, we also tried the spaghetti, ravioli and bread. was great food and perfect portion sizes. wait wasn’t too long and the waitress was very kind and helpful.

First visit and not the last. The place was packed for lunch but the service was quick. I had the salad with roast beef on top garnished with Italian vegetables. My friend had the French dip. Both excellent.
A hidden gem.

Wonderful spot. Great character. We had a couple of takeout pizzas, and they were great. This time we dined in. The wait was long, almost an hour to get seated. The server "forgot to put our order in," but he openly admitted his mistake and paid for my wife's fishbowl. Great customer service. The food was great again. We recommend the Tostada Pizza and the Quesadilla Pizza. Really good. The lasagna was good also, but a bit different than I'm used to... was that cheddar cheese? Great place, worth a visit. Try to avoid times that there are events at MTU, but that's really any restaurant in the area.

Stopped here in August on my latest visit to the UP and had a wonderful experience. Food was delicious. Waitress was a local college student and was extremely friendly. Had great conversation with her, and she even flipped a quarter for me because I could not decide between pizza and lasagna. Coin landed for the lasagna, and it was great. Root beer float for dessert was delicious as well. Recommend to Yoopers and visitors alike, and will be certain to return on my next visit.

Exemplary service. Cheap drinks, pizza was amazing. A lot of value here portion to price. Family of 4 ordered 2 large 1 small pizza bread salad and 2 beers only 70 bucks.

Since, 1965, the Ambassador has been an iconic Houghton restaurant serving pizza, sandwiches, pastas, salads, and more. Enjoy one their signature fishbowl cocktails. Sit with a view of the Houghton Lift Bridge or view the murals that were originally painted for Joseph Bosch of Bosch Brewery. You will be satisfied with the ambiance, the food, and the wonderful service offered by the Ambassador.

Traditional sub is the greatest around.

Try the tostada and the garlic chicken pizzas. You won’t be disappointed.

Oh man, the Tostada is AMAZING. Wish we had something like this near us, so so good!
And we got the submarine sub Togo, and it was phenomenal hours later for dinner 🔥🔥🔥

Good potato skins, good ravioli, good pizza, friendly service, and staff, love the atmosphere.

Don’t be afraid to order a fishbowl! The pizza is delicious- loveeed the crust. It gives classic vibes which I loved! Employees all appeared to be college students. Food was quick to come out. Looks like they do a lot of take out and it seemed to be very efficient.

My wife had a gluten free pizza (onion, pineapple, sausage, garlic oil) and it was great as always. I had a house made Cudighi sandwich and it was fantastic, the secret here is they add cinnamon to the sausage. This is definitely one of the must stop restaurants for the Keweenaw

We loved the chicken and vege pizza. The staff was very good and graceful while taking orders. It matters when your host is happy to serve you food. The food tastes even better. The several types of soft drinks we tasted we loved their lemon soda. Must visit after vwalking down beautiful streets of Haughton, Michigan
