Lux Cafe

Introduced to me by my sister and brother-in-law, this restaurant is deceptively unassuming looking both outside and in. Though it looks modest, the food and wait staff are anything but. I've been here three times (all for breakfast) now and can say that on each visit our server was polite and attentive. The menu has a wide selection of meals, especially breakfast. There are omelettes, scramblers, skillets, sandwiches, fou5r different types of eggs Benedict and from the griddle, a tasty variety of pancakes, French toast, waffles and crepes. Everything we've ordered has been excellent. I've had the Mexican skillet, Irish and house (pictured) omelets and have been pleased with all of them. I've chosen pancakes twice instead of toast and they are awesome. If you're in the area and hungry I would highly recommend.

Very nice place and great customer service. Clean and floorplan is spacious. Lots of parking and not to pricey. Spent $30 on two huge breakfast and coffee. They also honored veterans discount 😀

This is THE breakfast spot in Battle Creek. There are other decent options but this is definitely #1.

The staff is always friendly and we’re always seated in a timely manner and our drinks are there almost immediately. The portions of the meals are pretty big so you’ll never leave hungry. Today we ordered a Mexican omelette and the house omelette with sausage gravy on top. The food arrived at the table extremely fast and was hot and fresh. The fresh jalapeños on the Mexican omelette add a nice bite. The hashbrowns are perfectly cooked, not too salty with a good crunch. Adding sausage gravy to the house omelette only enhanced the flavors! The pancakes are always good, soak up the syrup perfectly and taste homemade.

Anytime we’ve gone, it’s always busy because the food and service is great but we’re never left waiting very long.

A diner with a fantastic menu located just off I-94. We split the Chunky Monkey French Toast and the House Waffle. The Chunky Monkey is 4 pieces of French toast sandwiched with creamy peanut butter and topped with strawberries, bananas, chocolate chips, and whipped cream. The waffle is topped with pecans, apples, raisans, and ice cream. Both were divine.
We will absolutely be back when we stop through town!

Met a friend here, one of her favorite places. I see why! Had a delicious chicken salad on a croissant, with soup and fruit. Fresh & delicious, with hearty portions thatleft some to go. Very happy with their broad selections on menu, reasonable prices and great service! Will definitely be returning.

WOW-Moment breakfast. The place is a bit deceiving from the outside. There is a large dining area. The service was great and our breakfast was delivered burn yo mouth hot! We had the country skillet with a side of pancakes. The pancakes were just alright. The skillet was excellent! We had no idea that it came with four eggs! We should have split one.

Highly recommend if in Battle Creek area.

CHAMPION OR NOT? Well if you’ve just got to Battle Creek Lux is the place for you. Always excellent food, GREAT portions, excellent prices. The staff is well on point and veterans at their craft. These photos are actually ONE meal with a side add-on. Always a stop when I’m in town. Can’t beat 4 egg breakfast. Yes pun intended.

The service was fantastic, cups were always full, very professional staff and the food was very tasty as well. We had the little taste of France and dutch omelette and the portions are generous and the bread very quality. Will be happy to eat again, nom nom nom.

The food portions are huge, and generally speaking above average quality. The eggs benedict I had came with four eggs which was great, and they were happy to accommodate me putting it on sourdough toast.

My buddy had the pork chops breakfast and there was so much food there that he brought half of it home and had it for lunch.

Awesome! A must-stop whenever we are near Battle Creek! I love the San Francisco with A1 - my husband and son can't get enough of their Corned Beef Hash. Everything we've tried is fantastic and the service is fast, the prices are incredibly reasonable.

Tina, was a great server!! Provided excellent service and followed up to make sure we were happy and had any/everything we needed!! Great job!!

The food was delicious, and the waitress was attentive. Overall, it was a great experience. We also had a large party of 16.

My family and I have eaten here many times. Take-out normally. I have 2 small children it’s easier that way. A few weeks ago we thought we would switch it up and go to Dennys. For $50 we got such a little amount of food!! we got the same thing here at Lux and it was $40 and I have leftovers. The portions are very generous. It’s homemade delicious food I will not go anywhere else for breakfast.

We have visited here often through out the years and have never never had anything we did not like! The service is always the Best! Food quality is unbeatable....

Bustling & cheerful. Worth the wait at busy times (not more than 10-15 min) for their delicious breakfast dishes. 1 egg order is actually 2 eggs! Service always with a smile & kind word.

We've been to Big E's on many occasions, sometimes to watch games (excellent place for that!) and sometimes to meet with friends or family for dinner/drinks. This was one of those occasions. We met at 630 and thankfully 2 of the 8 of us had a room at Holiday Inn which is connected here and got there early to get a table bc the place was PACKED. We just had apps but the pretzel and cheese sticks were amazing and I cannot say enough about the blueberry ginger mule which was to die for! If blueberry isn't your thing they make these in many other flavors or try a Raspberry Mojito or Big Easy
