Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

This Cracker Barrel was extremely nice, I can't even lie. The service was extraordinary, it was quiet, the food was immaculate. I was just in Battle Creek to go to a local auto museum, but stopping here to have breakfast really set the tone for my day. I'm very thankful for their wait staff & the establishment.

The overall value for the money spent, I thought, was very, very good. The food I bought for my wife and I cost $24, which was almost half the price of recent meals at a name brand Sea Food restaurant and a local high price spare rib place also. Where the meals I recently bought at those two high price restaurants was alright, the taste was not nearly as good as Cracker Barrel. I am retired and very much on a fixed income. I am not in a position to be able to get another job to supplement my income due to responsibilities at home. I was just about ready to give up going out to nicer restaurants to eat; this was basically my last attempt. I will be back at Cracker Barrel several times this winter, at least until the weather lifts and there is something else to do outside for an older woman who gets cold easy. God bless Cracker Barrel for having nice options at affordable prices for senior citizens. Thank you.

Normally everything is great at any Cracker Barrel I've been to but the service was awful this time. Took over an hour to get our food and there were just 2 of us and they weren't busy at all. The manager gave us a discount which was appreciated.

I still gave it 5 ⭐ though because I feel like this was a one time issue and I would definitely go back.

Excellent experience here. The staff were friendly and quick. The place was packed but our food came out in a very reasonable time. The grilled chicken salad was excellent. My wife had grilled chicken with Mac and cheese, biscuits, and veg. All was good. We will definitely return here when we are passing by again.

Stopped for dinner on the way home from a day at the zoo with kids. No wait. Had a table available immediately even though they were busy. Waitress took our orders immediately and food was served promptly. Excellent taste and quality of the food as well. Also did some shopping in the store attached to the restaurant as well. Many unique items in the store not found elsewhere at other places.

Came back again and server Heather was fantastic on top of everything overall great service even though the location was busy she made it a point to give us attention and stay on top of everything

It was pretty busy and took a while for our food to be done, but it was well worth the wait. My chicken was seasoned perfectly and was juicy, the turnip greens were pretty darn good, and my husband and son's steaks were done to their liking. Our waiter, Shane, was super busy but did his best to make sure drinks were filled and that we had everything we needed. Overall it was yet another wonderful meal at Cracker Barrel.

I really enjoyed coming to Cracker Barrell with my family! I got the chicken pot pie, which amazing! My husband got the beef/chicken/shrimp platter, and my in-laws tried new dishes that they loved! My kids had mac n cheese and grilled cheese, which were also very satisfactory. We will be back!

Always a good pigout breakfast. Great menu. Reasonably priced. There is a real wood burning fireplace that really helps on cold winter mornings.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store....it's usually a safe bet that you'll get a good meal and lots of it here! Everything is always good. Even when things are a bit off, every restaurant has off nights, they are always quick and happy to go above and beyond to be sure your meal is great. You can get breakfast all day long too! In my opinion, Cracker Barrel reminds me of more of a home cooked meal....at least more so than most other chain restaurants. Prices are very fair for the very generous amount of food they serve you. You will not leave hungry! The staff is helpful and friendly. I've seen them personally at times helping families with children, babies, elderly, and making accommodations for people in wheelchairs. The restaurant does seat quite a bit of people but it never seems to loud or understaffed. Lastly, after your meal you get to look through a General Store type of shop as you go to the counter in the store to pay for your dinner. The store has some pretty cool stuff! There are usually a couple of clearance displays which can have some great bargains. They also have craft sodas for sale in the store as well as some harder to find candy and sweets. There is a huge covered front porch across the entire restaurant where there are rocking chairs and game tables. How awesome! If you haven't been to a Cracker Barrel General Old Country Store get crackin'.....you won't be disappointed!

Latrece was our server and she is one of the kindest waitresses we have legitimately ever encountered! We go to Cracker Barrel’s very often on road trips and she is hands down one of the most memorable servers we have ever had. Made the location and experience even cozier than usual! Thank you Latrece! And the whole team was very kind. A standout staff overall!

Staff is always super nice and very efficient at there jobs. Wait staff Heather J. And Scarlett are more then 5 star people and servers . Alway a great vist! Thanks for going extra mile to make ever trip there a great one.

My only downgrade to Atmosphere is that I do not like country music. Oherwise, everything was great. My server Brett Sutherland was so pleasant and prompt. I was thoroughly pleased!

Our dinner was excellent. The service was a little slow and didn't pick up any of our dirty dishes. Other than that it was nice. Thire gift shop is full of unique last minute gifts. Lots of sales. New better menue.

Coming from somebody who lives in the south where there is a Cracker Barrel on every corner, this location was very good. I got the usual chicken pie and it was delicious. The server was nice and attentive, combine that with the cleanliness and it was perfect.

Food was super fresh and fast, our server named Heather was amazing! Kept checking on us and made sure we had everything we needed and drinks were always full.

I can't keep my wife out of the gift shop. They always take care of us. It's one of the best places to get a good home cooked meal.

Great experience. Never been with my wife before and it was a great choice. Hearty homestyle food that was tasty and prepared quickly. The server was amazing and kind. Will visit another cracker barrel in the future thanks to this great location.

Took our grandkids this morning. Waitress was great, food was good. We take them here often because it's there favorite place. Probably because they are treated with something from the country store when they are done with breakfast😁

CB never disappoints, doesn't matter what state I'm in!! I always get the catfish but James gets something different every time. The dumplings and the baked apples are always ordered for us to share!
