Los Aztecas Mexican Restaurant and Cantina

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Battle Creek. The food is always fresh and yummy. The drinks are tasty and presented in fun ways. And the atmosphere is lively and fun without being intensely loud or chaotic. The service is also great as all the waiters know the menu well and can make recommendations based on your likes, heat tolerance, etc. Prices are right in line for what you would expect at a nice, family-run Mexican restaurant. Alcohol is expensive but they make it worth the price by offering tons of flavors and presenting the drinks in fun ways.

Just happen to stop in for lunch while traveling. Very good Mexican food the crab tower appetizer is amazing. Other foods high-quality. I had the shrimp fajitas. Really good. Premium margaritas. Good staff just good overall around environment. Nice surprise stop.

This place is RIDICULOUSLY good. People who live in this area are lucky to have it, Id have a mean a$$ lunch here once week if I did. I had the seafood enchiladas and it was delicious, highly recommend this place.

I would probably say since leaving California, this is the best Mexican food I've had in Michigan or Indiana. They had a good selection of both seafood and regular dishes. The fajitas locas were pretty good. Had shrimp, seems like carnitas, and chorizo. Only veggies were onion and mushrooms. Also got tacos of lengua. Those were good as well.

Had a great meal and margaritas! Food tasted great and the portion size was fairly large.

I ordered Lunch Special # 4; it was delicious. The price was very reasonable for the portion and quality. The service was the best part for me. My server Ms Garcia (I believe is her name) was terrific. She was prompt and had a great smile. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely enjoyed this place. My waitress was very sweet and fast. Food came out pretty quick and was delicious!! Restrooms were clean. Parking was easy. Easy in and easy out.

Super impressed. To go meal was packaged very well. Verde chicken enchilada was flavorful with lots of rice and beans. Steak taco was excellent. Sides of sour cream, salsa and chips were appreciated. The churros were excellent!
So much food for a ridiculous value.

Roberto the bartender was excellent. His service is something that needs to be appreciate .
Food was good and the whole place feels so welcome. Awwww we saw the manager work as hard as the rest of the employees this tell you a lot. Great place, definitely we highly recommend.

Yum! Very good food, great service. The Fajitas Piñas were fantastic No lack of staff! 🙂 Despite being relatively busy for a random weeknight, we were seated promptly, checked on by our server almost immediately and the food was delicious and quick Large portions. I'm looking forward to having the rest of my fajitas for lunch tomorrow!

WOW! I kid you not when I say that this was hands down, the best service I have ever gotten at a restaurant. They were packed, and still tended to our table like we were the only costumer.Not to mention, the food was great!

Friendly staff, very fast service, fantastic food. Highly recommend the Chicken Chimicangas.

The 1st time I ate from here it was leftovers from my daughter and it was really good. I decided to have to order one night from Grubhub and order Steak and Chicken fajitas. It was absolutely fabulous! The portions were huge. Everything was authentic. Tonight my boyfriend and I dined in. The decor is beautiful. The food is even better than I expected. I ordered the Mar Azul. It was beyond mouth watering. My boyfriend had Carne Asada and it was extremely tender and cooked to order. Our portions were enough for both of us to take home. EVERYTHING was so fresh! I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone... and everyone!

Best Mexican food in Michigan! Conveniently located, fresh, and with a festive atmosphere. I could eat here every night! Service is excellent too + a nice added touch for El Dio de los Muertos celebrations 😋

Still pretty good food. It seems like something has changed. Our server was not overly friendly. Our salsa bowl wasn't even half full. I'm not a big fan of drinking beer out of plastic mugs. Bring back the glass mugs. Los Aztecas used to have the coldest beer in town...not so much anymore.

Been coming here for years. Great food and service every time we go! Great variety of menu options for the kids too.
