Karroo

We discovered the New Karoo today & decided to try it out for lunch. We ordered the French Dip; Turkey & Provolone; & Turkey, cranberry & cream cheese sandwiches. They were all delicious!!! Pasta salad was my choice & the kids wanted the potato salad. We had a sweet tooth & grabbed a few rice crispy treats for the road. The staff was super friendly & accommodating. I’d definitely recommend this place & will go back.

Delicious corned beef sandwich with pasta salad! I’ve had almost everything on their menu and it’s all good! I love the turkey club supreme too!! Very clean!

Great little sandwich shop just north of the break. Delicious food, great service, and do yourself a favor and get the whole instead of half sandwich! You won’t regret it.

Absolutely the best sandwich I have ever had. I had the club with turkey, ham, and bacon it was beyond yummy. I had a half size with chicken noodles soup. My husband had the corned beef and he enjoyed his just as much. They make all their own dressings and it shows.

Very good sandwich shop. I forgot to ask for my sandwich toasted. A little expensive, but very large portion size, along with chips and a pickle. It takes a minute for them to make it, but it appears to be because they are putting a lot of work into each one. It was a work of art and very good. One of the prettiest sandwiches I have had in a long time too.

Wow! A hidden gem. Decided to try this place out because they're super close to my job. So fresh and amazing. The people there are sweet. 11/10! I'll be a regular now.

This place is so amazing! By far, my absolute favorite restaurant in the valley!! Wonderful family family owned local place. I live on West Valley. I will gladly drive 25+ miles (round trip) at least once a week fir a sandwich!! Absolute must try! The quiche? A-may-zing!!

I randomly found this awesome little sandwich/salad shop today. It got really good reviews and we decided to try it. I am so glad we did! It's family owned and operated and been around for 29 years!! It's really tucked in to a little shopping area and you can't see it from the road unfortunately. So I'm telling you to put "Karroo" into your maps and get thee to lunch there asap! You can call ahead for takeout too. They are temporarily only open Mon-Fri for lunch right now. We both loved our sandwiches and were super full! The bread was great, lots of meat, etc. We will most definitely be going back often!

Visited for the first time and I'll definitely make it a regular stop! The ladies working were so cool and nice. They were out of the tuna and egg salad I wanted to order (which was totally fine, I came in later in the day). And I was fine with picking something else but they insisted they can make tuna while I wait. And it was worth the wait (which actually wasnt that long of a wait at all)! It was so good and fresh, the potato salad was really delicious. Price was reasonable too. Thank you!

When a sandwich shop has flower wallpaper, plastic chairs, a white board for specials and a paper menu, you know the sandwich is gonna be top notch. This did not disappoint. Sandwich, chips and a pickle for less than $10? Yes, please. The bread was beyond soft. They don’t overcomplicate the sandwich, just simple goodness. This place is a beacon of hope in a sea of mediocre and overpriced fast casual restaurants right now. The cashier/waitress was also so nice and helpful.

A delicious, wonderful sandwich shop that deserves you attention. Plenty of deliciously fresh bread options, with quite a few ways to customize your order. I had the club, with added provolone and avocado, served with a side of chips. The service is fast and friendly, with relatively good prices for the serving size. I personally didn't have a chance to try any, but they also offered a variety of deserts that looked very good, including a favorite of mine, baklava. Give it a try if you are in the area!

Karoo’s is a great place to get a great sandwhich. I usually go for their egg salad, which is amazing, but recently tried their Rueben. It was toasted to perfection! I come all the time!

The turkey, cream cheese, and cranberry sandwich is a must!
The owner and waitress were so nice and took the time to say hello and make sure that everything was perfect!

Simple sandwiches made well with good, fresh ingredients. The employees were very friendly and welcoming as well.

This place is delicious! From it's sandwiches to soups, it's all very satisfying. The sandwiches are stacked and filled with each ingredient. The specialty soups are delightful, homemade and just delicious. 10 out of 10 wonderful.

This sandwich shop feel like coming home. I have been a regular customer for years and the owners are wonderful. The quality is great, good prices and generous portions. It is my go-to-place for lunch when I am in the neighborhood.

I ordered 1/2 turkey and avocado with bacon, sprouts, tomato on wheat - good go to - was terrific- i would drive past several restaurants for this place. I also had a 1/2 chef salad with their home made ranch! OMGoodness! delicious- this gem is definitely worth looking up!

Stopped in for a quick lunch, OMG! the service was amazing and the sandwich was even better! I will be back. My new favorite lunch spot.
