Black Cherry Mediterranean Market

Just found my new favorite Middle Eastern market & I'm so glad I did! No need to look further because Black Cherry Market has everything you need. The owner is super friendly and knows where anything is if you just ask him. They have sooo much variety of (halal) items from spices to frozen foods to Middle Eastern bread & Baklava and tea glasses. Definitely coming back here very very soon!!

I had an incredible experience here. The owner checked me out himself, was knowledgeable about the products he sells, and I felt comfortable asking questions. Great range of options, and I will absolutely shop here again.

This store is Great! A large selection of hallah meats and exotic spices. I went there and purchased some excellent fresh saffron.

There is a large selection of dried goods, grocery items, and frozen foods. They also offer freshly baked flatbreads and lavash, a small but good quality selection of produce, and halal meats. I was very happy with the preserved fruits and syrups on offer. I was able to purchase specialty items such as green walnut preserves and date syrup. There were also many types of sour cherry preserves and syrups to choose from. Along with the fresh breads, there were many boxes of Mediterranean and middle eastern pastries. I will definitely return to sample more of the flavors on offer in this lovely grocery store.

There are specialty items that we use in our household everyday. From seasonings to vegetables. We've been loyal customers for over 10 years and we will keep going there for the fresh bread,zatar, tahini. They even have dishes.

They always have what I need when I'm looking for products for my Bulgarian dishes. Super friendly people as well.

First time in the market and it was a great experience. The owner is friendly and kind! Complimentary tea which was so nice to have while walking around. Originally went in just for grape leaves and left with almost $100 worth of items. 10/10 recommend.

This place is amazing. I have found everything I need to cook authentic Persian and Thai food. The owner are some of the best people I have met in Salt Lake City and I am grateful for their help. I used to speak farsi but since my mom and many of our family passed away I'm losing it. Here I can speak in English, Farsi and Spanish sometimes.. My wife who is from here has made this store her favorite.

Charming Mediterranean market. I just stopped in on a whim bc I was in the area. Store is clean, well stocked and helpful friendly owner and staff. I will look up some recipes from the regions represented in the shop so I can cook something from products there. I did buy some lentils and some date candies which were so good. I’ll come back!

That’s the cleanest Middle Eastern market in Salt Lake City. Hygiene is important when you sell food and the owner which is genius engineer Persian guy. You can find variety of foods with proper customer service. Support the minority!

Very cool grocery store! Lots of awesome treats and nice food. This a moderately sized Mediterranean grocery store. It has kosher meat and dairy. It also has bread and spices.

Excellent quality products and great, helpful customer service

We are fans of Mediterranean/Greek Food and when my daughter found this store she couldn't wait to go. We found many items not carried in regular stores. It was definitely worth the trip. We left with many fun item and can't wait to go back. The prices were fair for specialty foods and the staff was great, very friendly and thoughtful. When I told my brother about it he said he wanted us to take him there when he has to visit the Salt Lake area. If you like homemade Mediterranean and Greek food this store is worth taking the time to visit.

Had all the ingredients and fresh veggies that I needed to make a Greek meal. Everything I bought was of great quality and a really good price.

Black Cherry Market is a wonderful market for Mediterranean foods. Everything is so fresh! The halal lamb and beef is marvelous. I have been shopping here for many years. The customers service and availability of a variety of specialty foods the way they are supposed to taste is amazing. So if you don't want feta that tastes like salted chalk, treat yourselves to reasonably priced imported feta!

We LOVE this market! The owners are so incredibly friendly and helpful. They always have the staples we need and sometimes special treats, too, like orange blossom ice cream - YUM!

My first time here and it was a great experience. An excellent selection of Mediterranean and Middle East foods, from beans to pastries and local grass-fed beef. Spices, flat breads, canned and bottled vegetables, it really has it all. And a very nice young woman working the register.
