The Taco Stand Garden City

The food was fantastic. No frills, just quality street tacos(amongst other options that surely are also bomb) and some very good sauces to accompany. Tried three tacos: Al Pastor, pollo, and chorizo/steak. All were fantastic and held together perfecting by the slightly toasted corn tortillas. Rice and beans were on point - two thumbs up on the rice as it was not dry nor bland like many other places. I would definitely recommend this place if in the area and in the mood for tacos.

I order them on Door Dash nearly every weekend. They are super fast- I always get my order delivered in around 30 minutes, and the food is amazing. Even with DD adding their fees, they are still one of the more affordable restaurants listed. Love them!

I had The Taco Street Burrito He had tacos.
We also had chips/salsa.

My Burrito was the best one Ihave ever had.
It was stuffed with rice,beans, meat, cilantro, onions. The chips/Salsa impeccable.

My partners taco undescribable.

My only complaint not alot of tables to sit at.(Only 3) but they do have a side bar plus 3 picnic tables outside.

Friendly staff and delicious tacos! Great tasting at very reasonable prices. I recommend the tacos but I see alot of people leaving with burritos as well. Worth a visit for sure.

i had a promo code on doordash so i used it for pickup at this location. doordash didn't tell me that they were about to close 10 minutes after i made the order so i rushed there to pick it up and felt terrible. they were so nice and the food was still great as usual

The best taco place in this area.
I live like 15 minutes away but if I want to have taco I always drive there and get my favorite California Burrito (steak)
It is really delicious, the quality of food is great.
Their burritos are a really good size so you can share with someone.
You can order through DoorDash and you have the option to pick it up or have them deliver it to you. Or you can call ahead and drive there. They only take 10 minutes to make the order ready. They’re amazing.
Highly recommend.

First time eating here let me tell you my new favorite 😍. If you have not been here you are missing out. The staff super is super nice and the food amazing.

Checked this place out today and got two carne asada / two pork tacos, both on corn tortillas. Also the chips and guac.
I am not a fan of blended guac so the chunks of onions and tomatoes were right up my alley. The (homemade?) tortilla chips were crunchy and delicious. Together the chips and guac were a 8.5/10 for me.
The tacos were to die for. Doubled layered corn tortillas for each one and the little onion chunks/cilantro were incredibly fresh tasting and a great topping. It also came with a small salsa and little green (cilantro?) sauce that was perfect on the tacos.
10/10 for the pork tacos, I will definitely be getting those again and again.
Very glad I checked this place out! They are worth the $10-$15 meal (not expensive at all).

It is THE taco place. Great food and a great price. We dine in all the time and it is always prepared quickly. The staff is very friendly and helpful to first timers!

My husband is from Mexico and has introduced me to lots of wonderful food over the years. We moved to Detroit from Arizona recently and were really missing authentic, high quality carne asada. We found it at this taqueria! We were both so excited when we received our order from DoorDash- from the smell alone, we could tell it was going to be good! The torta I think is my favorite- the bread is so good and I’m pretty sure homemade. My husband is also pretty sure the tortillas for his tacos were made to order, they were that fresh. Absolutely wonderful and I know this will become a staple for us!

The asada torta is my go-to but from my understanding everything is delicious...

This play is a low key gem 💎 if you love Mexican 🌮 🌯 food...

It's really ducked off and hard to spot if you're unfamiliar but once you spot it prepare yourself for some good eats

Best tacos I have ever had. If you haven’t ate here go asap

Alright I have been here at least 10 times in the past 3 months so I figured I should probably review the place. Long story short, I lived in Vegas for a couple years and just moved back home to Michigan in August. Let me just say, this is the most delicious, satisfying, affordable "taco truck" kinda Mexican around. It makes the taco trucks in Vegas look overpriced and weak. & their guac is SO good. Definitely recommend, they never disappoint!

I have been trying different Carne Asada fries since the Lake Orion Taco fest in 2022.
Mezcal, Del Taco,Pequeño Cantina, Jose Tacos...This place is the WINNER. The portion size is crazy for the small.. need 2 people to eat it. The price is under $10.

This place had exceptional service paralleled with great food. The staff was very friendly, professional, and the food was ready in minutes. The inside dining area was unique and clean. Would recommend to anyone looking for quality food and service.

Never eaten here. Just dashed. But very friendly and fast. Always busy. I want to try soooo bad!
