I love this place and the ppl that work here. They pamper me!! Always willing to assist and you can always find someone..unlike Home Depot...They gave me a discount for a student I wanted to reward with a bike..let him chose one, test it out...and they delivered it!!! They made that student feel proud of his accomplishments.

Everyone here is always friendly and always quick to help the customer. Their name is perfect for them because their awesome customer service reminds you of a little country store. True value isn't always the cheapest chain, but I'd rather go there than the big box stores if possible.

Update: our cat broke our window screen mesh, so the knowledgeable staff put in cat proof mesh. She still managed to knock out the whole frame, so when I went back 2 weeks later, they put stronger spline in for free. It's working great and my cat is happy to sit in the window again.

Very friendly and helpful cause i was looking for a bike and the Manager was able to pump up both tires on the bike that i purchased,also the person who worked the cash register allowed me to open the bottled water in the store; and I was able to pay $30.00 less than the price and i 2as very happy.

Cannot say enough good. My generator was not working and my back up was losing ground. I dropped it off at 10 am Saturday morning and had it back by 530. During a major clean up from this ice storm I am very thankful to be able to keep the heat going. Everyone was great to work with and explained the repairs.

Went there to purchase a new Gas log insert for my fireplace. I've went here a couple of times with questions. Finally purchased today . All the employees that I have dealt with very knowledgeable,friendly.
I highly recommend this True Value.

Great customer service! I walked in today expecting to spend about an hour in the store finding everything I needed and reading the labels to find what would work best for me. Instead, I was greeted at the door and escorted around the store to find each item on my list. Even having 2 keys made (which work, btw!), I was in and out in about 10 minutes.
This is my new go-to hardware store.

I have to say I am so impressed with the consistency of outstanding customer service in this store. Wether they are busy or have one customer there, they are always waiting by the door to help you find whatever it is you need. The cashier always greets guests walking in, no matter what they are doing. I will continue to shop here for this reason alone. I don't care if prices are cheaper somewhere else or not. They give customer service like you just don't find it anymore, and for that I am a loyal customer. Thank you for your hard work. You should all be very proud of yourselves.

This is a great store!!! I go there for all my home needs. Store is always super clean and they carry a ton of things for home improvements. The staff is amazing and always ready to help. It's family owned and operated. I love to support local and family owned bussiness.

Wow. They went above and beyond... They not only made sure I got what I needed, but we're just so helpful. I'm a handy man, I work all over Wayne county and am in allot of different hardware's, big box to chains, to mom and pops, to independents... And I was impressed. That IS saying something ! Keep up the good work.

Update:Town & country has went above and beyond to correct their mistake and make it up to me, I appreciate their diligence to correct this. I have since been back several times for any repair purchases and will continue to shop here.

I will literally never come back to this establishment, I have been there several times weekly since I purchased my house around the corner a few months ago.... spending hundreds upon hundreds of dollars and today they accuse me of stealing because they didn't have what I came looking for. so this is how you guys treat returning customers?..... I literally had to empty my pockets out in front of other customers do you realize how degrading that is...

This location has an excellent, super helpful staff and always has loads of inventory to choose from. I like stopping in often because they always have fresh and even unique inventory for all your home repair / design needs. Their seasonal area up front always sucks me in! ;)

We bought a couple of things here. Haven't been here in along time.

Employees are extremely helpful, I went in looking for something and was helped immediately. With Masons help I was in and out quickly. Cashier is also very kind and helpful. Will continue to shop here.

Great customer service, Great selection BBQs and wood burning stove/ fireplace excessories, plumbing and painting supplies and just about whatever you might need, very well priced compared to the big box stores. And a good location.

Mike Chokr is the owner of this True Value and he is amazingly knowledgeable about everything, and is especially helpful with fireplaces. I purchased a gas log pilot safety kit from him and could not get it to work. He had me bring the burner back in and he spent 20 minutes reinstalling the pilot and testing it. No charge! You can't find service like this anymore!

amazing service something you don't expect from a hardware store especially when you're used to the big chains. you can actually find staff willing ready and most importantly available to help and they have just about anything you need for any type of home repair. not to mention the propane refills for 12$$ . I used to drive 10 miles now it's right around the corner and cheaper for propane refill. Why pay $20 for 15 lb tank at home depot or lowes or gas station when you can get it here for $12 and you get 20llbs
