Ho Fan Restaurant

I had to take my two toddler children to lunch. This restaurant had exceptional for vegetarian food ! The owner and his wife made my children feel so welcomed and loved. The food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying! I highly recommend this for take out for families! We are vegetarians and we would go again in a heart beat!!!! We had alot of leftovers.

This place is a hidden gem in the skyway system. The service is friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious, with plenty of vegetarian friendly options for a reasonable price. Would recommend

Got recommended this place from a coworker a while back. The main dishes I get are from the Cook-To-Order sign outside the shop, and for the slightly higher price, it's worth it. Hot and fresh food, flavors are great, and portion size is large enough to feed you the whole day. Highly recommend!

These guys have fantastic food! I always get their orange chicken but the egg rolls are my favorite, they are delicious!!

Excellent value for the quantity of food. Chicken fried rice was tasty and had large chunks of chicken and they were able to customize it to have no onions for me. Pleasantly surprised that they asked what spice level I wanted so I got nicely spicy rice. Cream cheese wontons have a decent amount of cream cheese. Staff were friendly. Will definitely be back to try more menu items.

Love the food! I've ordered a large take out meal from Ho Fan for our ECFE class. The families and kids loved it, and owner is a chill guy, easy to work with. I plan on using Ho Fan again for our ECFE program. This time I'm going to bring menus to hand out as so many asked where Ho Fan was located.

I usually don’t write reviews! My coworker told me about this restaurant a little while ago. I was a little hesitant when I first went there. I’m so glad I decided to give it a shot! I can confidently say this is the best Chinese food I had in forever! I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciate authenticity and quality. Their price is reasonable and the customer service is the best and they are right on time. This place will definitely be my go to!

This is the only place I trust for Egg Fu Yung! The food is always fresh, hot and fast! If you live or work downtown St. Paul, this is the place.

Hands down some of the best Chinese food around. The eggrolls are outstanding, will not get eggrolls from anywhere else now. The beef lomein is delicious they use thin egg noodles and the beef is fresh and not altered like some other Chinese restaurants. I'm so opposed to Velveeting beef it gives a weird texture and flavor. Egg Fu Yung is YUMMY with huge patties with gravy on the side. I used Uber Eats for delivery and this whole experience has been perfect!!

Best place to eat in downtown St. Paul! Great that they’re still open right now too. Used to get it when I worked in the skyway and glad I can still get it while working from home. Pretty close and parking is easy now that downtown is empty. Definitely check it out if you’ve never been!

So far I have enjoyed visiting this location. Please be respectful to staff here, they are happy to assist you. Come earlier in the day if you are a potsticker fan, and be mindful of when you show up if you wish to have a larger entrée. The food I have no issue with, and it is a fair price for the quality offered.

For a small restaurant to survive the pandemic in the skyway system is no doubt a real statement on the product they serve. Jimmy has been cooking up Asian classics since I took my young boys there in the early 90's. Today my youngest is a 34 year old St Paul cop. He must be doing something right. The best part about Ho Fan is when I am unsure wwhat to order, I just tell Jimmy my meat preference, veggies and flavor and he goes back to do his magic. I park downtown to visit him 2 to 3 times per week and it is well worth it.

Not sure where all the previous reviews went, but I love Ho Fan. My family and I frequent here often, and I enjoy a variety of dishes! The beef and broccoli, sesame chicken and chicken chowmein combo with sweet & sour chicken are my go to! I am addicted to the spicy oil as well 🥵

This food is amazing and fresh , I love the fried rice and spicy wings, The owners are always so nice and patient, 10/10 recommended.

I’ve been eating this food for along time now and I really enjoy it the prices are just right for me some may think it’s expensive which it might be sometimes and I see a lot of reviews of mistakes they made but it happened with only 3 people sometime it gets hard to manage all the time they also are probably dealing with things in their lives that may effect them to forget sometimes or even some other things they are really nice tho and laught a lot and I feel joyful when there they aren’t laughing at you sometimes themselves are each other :) But the sesame chicken is so good I recommend it I usually get it!

Took my girl here as a first date and got the Sesame Chicken. That girl is now my fiance. I thank Ho Fan everyday for securing the love of my life.
