Caffetto Coffee House

My date introduced me to this place. I love the Hot Chocolate and the Dirty Chai Tea. I had the chocolate cake as well, and it was rich and delicious!

The service was good. Nothing too exceptional. The drinks were made in a timely manner. And the barista was nice.

I love the dichotomy between the upstairs and downstairs area of Caffetto! The downstairs portion is my favorite! I love the graffiti and pinball machines! It's very aesthetically pleasing, and it makes for a fun place for a date!

During my recent visit to Minneapolis, I had the pleasure of stopping by Caffetto Coffee House. The ambiance was nothing short of beautiful. The bohemian-grunge vibe of the place made me feel instantly comfortable, and it was evident that this was a space where people could gather without the pressure of alcohol consumption. The staff was notably friendly and knowledgeable about their offerings. Their chai was delightful, and the espresso was top-notch. I truly appreciate the late-night hours they offer, making it a perfect spot for night owls like me. Overall, my experience at Caffetto was memorable, and I genuinely liked it. If you're in Minneapolis, I highly recommend giving this place a visit!

I wish I had come here sooner.. last time I came in I got a thai iced coffee with some banana syrup added to it. Absolutely delightful!! So many different syrups to choose from. The danish I had was yummy too. Reasonable and fair prices. Welcoming and accepting environment.

Only complaint is the exposed/shredded cushions in the booths.. there is a certain charm to them but they aren’t very comfy and I can only imagine all the germs/particles absorbed into the foam.

Overall, good vibes & good coffee.

😎 Coffetto wins hands down for character. You definitely know you are not in a Starbucks. Local, piratey, interesting art on the walls, Playlist had Colter Wall, Drayton Farley, Devil Makes Three, etc…. Coffee is really good too btw. Parking is on the street and you may have to walk a bit. Just a really cool local coffee shop. Lots of space to work and hang out.

Went in for coffee and to visit with a friend. We enjoyed our beverages. I got the "flaming" mocha and my friend had regular coffee. I tell ya what, the spicy mocha, originally called the flaming mocha is to die for. The atmosphere is inviting and downstairs is simply delightful. Pinball and graffiti covering the walls, gives it a really neat vibe. The old ships on all the walls upstairs are fun to get lost looking at. The barista was relaxed and kind. Highly recommend checking this spot out. There is outdoor seating and a few little library right out front. They have snacks, btw! Check em out!

We stopped in to get sweets, their carrot cake is delicious 🔥 😋!! Love the atmosphere.

Really like the outdoor seating in the back, tons of coffee/tea options that are simple and not complex to figure out.

Although, $16+ for two 8oz drinks… bro, like that’s a pretty hefty amount.

They have an arcade downstairs with some out of the world art/drawing on the walls. A good laugh from that alone. 😅

One of my favorite places to get coffee and sit down to work on art and other projects in the Twin Cities! The music choices every time I've come in have been fantastic.

A lovely neighborhood cafe. The atmosphere is very chill, eclectic with a variety of décors and downtempo music. It’s a great place to work, study alone or collaborate with others. Why didn’t I come here sooner.

Interesting combination of neighborhood game room and coffee shop! Older building with lots of character. Booths and tables for drinking, conversation and playing board games upstairs. Ping pong and pinball machines downstairs. Lots of outside seating. My caffè macchiato was strong and quite good.

Caffetto has a comfy, casual, artistic atmosphere. Almost every available space is taken up with some piece of art, scribbled note or other fun oddity.

The coffee is always good and they often have decadent cakes by the slice. Their tea selection has something for everyone and they have a laid-back staff. 👍🏼

Another plus: they’re open late!

Having a late night place to meet up without the expectation of alcohol consumption has been an absolute godsend for me. The staff is very friendly, levelheaded when they’re obviously busy, and knowledgeable about their product. The whole space is a very cohesive, bohemian-grunge vibe that makes one feel instantly comfortable. Their chai is fantastic and their espresso is exceptional.

Great coffee shop, one of the few to get you your 11pm caffeine fix.

Drink options include everything from drip coffee to iced to all the espresso drinks and all sorts of teas. Also features Italian and French sodas with a loads of different syrup flavors, kombucha, tea, and bottled soda.

Space is very eclectic and filled with local art, lots of seating, a downstairs space with arcade machines, and outdoor seating in the front and the back. Be sure to check out one of their rotating cake options.

Great grungy punk hangout. The pinball machines downstairs give you as much fun as pinball machines are capable of giving, which is about 15 minutes of elation. This is not a dis against Caffetto, just the realistic nature of pinball machines.
Good coffee too.

Great local coffee shop! Very light and inviting in the upstairs with a classic coffee shop feel. You can also go downstairs for a more dark and moody vibe. They have some cool pinball machines and stuff downstairs if you enjoy that kind of stuff. Coffee and pastry options are all good. My personal favorite is the apple pie!😘

Best late night coffeeshop in town! Cold Press is legit, treats are sweet, water is free, and vibe is extra local. You never know what creative eccentric you’ll be sitting next to~

Love the drinks here, best hot coco I've had in the Twin Cities! Fun place to study: plenty of seating (although light is a little limited) and an interesting vibe. The upstairs has art for sale along the walls and the downstairs has pinball machines to mess around with.

Welcoming & a Vibe.
This is a real gem, a diamond in the rough. There is no place quite like Cafetto. It is punk, it is cozy, it is filled with music but it’s peaceful at the same time. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and apt at making the perfect cup of joe or chai of choice. If you need a place to vibe, work, or have some fun (especially with the plethora of pinball machines in the basement), this is the place to be. I just wish there was a location in St. Cloud, but to me this place alone is worth the drive!

Best coffee shop in the Twin Cities. I've been coming here for 20 years, I've had first dates here, had two art shows here, played endless games of Scrabble, and enjoyed hundreds of hours of conversation and camaraderie with staff and clientele. The vintage ship painting decor and jewel toned plaster walls give the place a cozy living room vibe, the sidewalk tables offer a grade A view of Uptown's cast of characters, and I will always make time to stop in, when I'm in town. Some food options, like pie, cake, sandwiches and pastries, are always available, in addition to a fun array of glass bottled sodas.
