Love this shop! Just went in not knowing anything about what to wear to my friend’s Indian wedding and the owner was SO nice and helped me and my friend so much. Now I can’t wait to wear my outfit and go to the wedding. So grateful to have randomly found this shop!💖

Extremely helpful staff that helped me dress for my friends indian wedding. She taught me how to properly fold my dupatta and gave me options within my price range. Highly recommend !

Noelin is very sweet and is a very talented designer. I am a tall girl and she fit me in a skirt that is long enough for my long legs. The outfits she makes are absolutely stunning and I would recommend her. She's the best in town!

Been looking for different desi fits, got lost trying to find something online and was relieved that this shop was nearby that could guide me! Jean was really kindly and helpful and has a good sizing system worked out (American sizing vs Indian clothing sizes don't exactly translate but she's got it all figured out!). All the different lehenga were so beautiful too... My only gripe is that I couldn't take them all home with me! Thanks Jean!

Had a great experience at NM Designs picking out an outfit for my best friend's mehndi. We tried various but ended up with a great look that I got lots of compliments on, and she stayed within the budget I had asked for!

Noelin is the absolute best! We walked in looking for a men’s kurta and she immediately pulled out the perfect piece. The quality of the fabric was great, as was the fit.

She’s incredibly kind and joyful and runs a great shop. This will be my go-to for all the Indian weddings to come.

I can NOT say enough good things about Aunty Jean 🥰 She is the nicest, most honest, and truly caring person. My husband is Indian, obviously none of the rest of us are. Lol. We had an Indian reception after our American wedding and all needed appropriate attire, to say Aunty hooked us UP would be an a understatement.

Originally I went, I got my saree (it was expensive [$600+ 😖], but she brings all her fabric back from India, and it’s silk, so I think $600 is justified). Then I sent my husband to get his sherwani (again, $300+, but quality justifies the price people). My parents, brother, and parents’ friends then went and got kurtas and salwar suits (these were all $150-275 depending on embellishments/fanciness haha).

Aunty also altered my saree and when she found out no one near our reception knew how to properly wrap a silk saree, she had me bring it back so she could prep it. She was going to just come to our reception and do it for me until she found out it was 4 hours away! How stinkin sweet!?!! She taught me how to do it, pleated and pinned it so literally all I had to do was wrap it for our reception.
She never hesitated to provide a ton of education to us about tradition, attire, etiquette, etc… some of which my husband didn’t even know! She wanted to make sure everything we were getting was ok with my in-laws and what they preferred given tradition, which was quite thoughtful. She also was trying to get us all in outfits that didn’t clash badly in photos and had this in mind without me even saying anything.
TIP - If you’re going to her shop on the weekend, be sure to call ahead or make an appt to make sure she’s there as she’s often at weddings on the weekends. She’ll see you outside of her posted hours if you need and is super accommodating.

As Aunty will tell you, she won’t let you leave in something she doesn’t like. So just listen to her and she won’t fail you 😂❤ ALL of our outfits in the photos are from Aunty’s place! We’ll definitely be going back to Aunty for life whenever we need Indian attire.

Love this store, owner is amazing. Needed three outfits for family last minute for wedding. Jean had us in beautiful outfits, with coordinating jewelry within minutes. We all picked out her first choice. Originally selected based on men’s options and didn’t disappoint.

So impressed with NM Designs! The owner was patient with us, and kind and fun, and so accommodating -she went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and looking & feeling our best. I was happy to work with her vs order online because I got great service & quality made items. She knows her stuff, has a nice selection, and I just can't say enough nice things.

A must-go location for any of your Indian clothing/accessories/apparel needs! I needed two outfits for a wedding in India, and Jean helped me figure out exactly what I needed and fit me in beautiful garments. Excellent service and such a great experience - I feel like I'm heading to India so much more prepared!

Literally saved my life. I rushed in after finding out I had to fly out within 24 hours to attend a wedding. Noelin was super welcoming, warm, and honest. She helped me pick out and feel great in two outfits for the different events I’ll be attending, along with earrings, and all within half an hour knowing I was in a rush. I was super worried going in that I wouldn’t be able to find anything that would fit me and be flattering but she brought things out right away and all of the options were great. Will definitely go back any time I need any Indian clothes.

We had a wonderful experience here! The shop owner was so friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. She helped us pick outfits to match the dress code of the wedding we’re attending and gave us tips on everything from shoes to hair styles. Absolutely would recommend this shop to anyone!

I was blown away by the service and quality of products at this store. I had a Hindi wedding to attend in Chicago and my husband was in the wedding so I knew I had to look my best, and it was requested that we not wear black tie attire but traditional Indian wedding attire. I Googled stores near me and thank goodness found NM Designs. For some reason I was very nervous. As soon as I walked into the store the two ladies who worked there took all my worry away. They were so helpful, kind, and fast! We tried on three things but decided to stick with two of them. They were gorgeous. At the wedding festivities, I got more compliments and questions about where I found the outfits. I couldn't have asked for better service or quality. This store really help make this experience truly positive and memorable for me. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!!!

I was in a wedding this past weekend and had to where traditional Indian clothing, which I had very little knowledge on. The owner is so kind and patient and tells it how it is! Not only did she help me pick out a saree and tailor it to my needs (I’m a bigger girl) she also made it so easy for someone like me to put it on correctly on the wedding day. I am blessed to have found this shop!

If i need to shop for Indian Wear again, i know where to go. I have also recommended this place to all my friends.

I have not had better customer service in a long time. Picking out clothing for myself and partner who was not with me. She was extremely patient and knowledgeable on exactly how to help us. Amazing hand made garments that are stunning and for all different occasions. I would highly recommend this business to anyone!! Thank you so much for your great service and beautiful clothes.
