Corner Stone Rescue Mission

Story I was on a budget had a dream heading out to sturgis on a budget. All of the hotels on August 4 are 200.00 dollars plus for one night what was I to do I called cornerstone rescue mission asked if the had a bed they said yes and I said if I arrived their on the 4 of August would they still have a bed. They said yes I said what do you charge for a night I forget what they said long story short awsome food always had a bed for me over the weekend kept me alive even had a pastor come in and preach on Sunday helped my travels and my frame of mind my quest for freedom sometimes it’s not the destination it’s the good hearted people that love you along the way. They would take you in nurture you your sole your reckless behavior. I’m going to repeat the message as best as I can. Why are you doing this to yourself why are you killing yourself. I think I realized it was my decision my life and I was the one in control if I wanted things to change all I had to do is live right not take such big risks calm down after all I did not find the freedom I was looking for in sturgis my last day of my Tripp I felt an emptiness for my family sad they weren’t their enjoying this Tripp with me a great thankfulness for who housed me. To go back to sturgis or to head home Sunday through the rain. I went home feeling good about my decision that I was doing the right thing for me and my family. I rode home when I hit the badlands the curves I increased the speed 100 mph and for some reason it felt right the sun came out pavement dried out rainbow the whole way home very little traffic onley 1 police officer in chamberlain he was going the opposite way I don’t let off the throttle if it feels like freedom it’s probably illegal going to post some pics for you all because I love you.

The Cornerstone Rescue Mission was a vital key for me when I became houseless in Rapid City, South Dakota. It was not only a constant place to lay my head each night, it was a place where I was allowed space to connect with God, the Creator, again. I am forever grateful for this place. May the peace of Jesus Christ forever rest here.

This place is great! Everyone is very friendly and helpful and they don't ask for much in return. So glad I decided to come here when I needed help.

A shelter is a shelter. You don't have anywhere else to sleep? It's here for you. Don't judge the staff, the clients. Be glad you have a place to stay, even if it is one night. Pilamiyaye for helping people in need. Keep up the good work 😊

The pictures that is posted is not accurate that looks like something from the rally it has nothing to do with what cornerstone rescue mission looks like, there are no motorcycles out front I don't know who posted that. The food is decent and a lot of people are helped out by the mission.

I help feed the poor at the mission once every 2 months. Homeless people are very greatful for this.more people should. Consider volunteering. This is so rewarding and is the work of our Lord.

Great people to help you , foods good, pretty clean ,it's a place to put your head out of the cold.
