Moved to town without knowing a soul and decided to trust this center with the care of my 2 year old. Cannot describe how pleased we are with our decision. Our son loves it there! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. You can tell that they truly care about the children.

The facility is large and the classrooms are clean/spacious. Great security system in place. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for part time or full time care.

Children of America has caring, and passionate teachers. The school is clean and provides a peace of mind with a safe and secure environment. Alison and Alex are very helpful and everyone is always welcoming. We love the water pad and large gym area. My daughter is thriving and love going to school each and every day!

I stayed at home with my daughter for a year. So of course I was a nervous wreck my daughters first day of daycare. COA Made me feel so at ease they were very patient with my daughter and me. The daily reports are amazing. I was able to call and check as many times as I liked with no issues. Everybody is always so happy and pleasant.

This is a place that has all the ingredients for a perfect setting for your kids away from home. Very cordial and talented staff, very big sized rooms and great ambience. They even have a camera in case you want to see your tiny ones grow before your eyes even when you are physically away. They have a decent size outdoor play area and a very big sized indoor gym area. Having seen other day cares in this area, just a single visit to this place was enough to make up our mind and we do not regret it. Our kid has been going for last three months to this facility.

This center is absolutely amazing. The entire staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. My daughter was cared for by her grandmother full time before my husband and I decided to enroll her at COA. We were extremely hesitant at the idea of daycare but everyone was so amazing; specially the first couple of months when my daughter was having such a hard time getting use to the new routine. Ms. Kate, Ms. Claudia and Ms. Melissa have helped my daughter tremendously and my husband and i are so grateful. We don't regret enrolling our child. She has learned so much in the past 5 months and we owe it all to the amazing staff at COA.

They take great care of my daughter who has been there since 5 months! She is now two and a half and asks to go back to “school”. I love how everyday I have pictures and know what she while she was there. I can even see her on the cameras to check in. I love the staff as well. I would highly recommend this facility.

Myself and my nephew have had the most amazing experience with Children of America. He learns more and more everyday and comes home consistently with new skills. The director is always available to talk to or ask questions and extremely easy to work with.

My daughter has been going to COA since she was 18 months old, and she is currently in the Pre-K class preparing for graduation. Through the years, the COA staff has shown my family nothing but understanding, kindness, passion, and professionalism. From cleanliness to the quality of their early childhood curriculum, I have always been comfortable and satisfied with COA! Trusting someone to care for and teach your child at such a young age is so difficult, but COA made it easy. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done, and continue to do for my little girl.

I have NO regrets at all from changing child care to COA!! I switched my younger daughter over to COA in the middle of this past December and she has definitely grown in such a positive way!! As for my older daughter, she just loves going there after a long day at her school!!! Thank you to the entire staff for everything that you do and GO preschool B room!!!

When I heard about the STEAM incorporation to the curriculum I was ecstatic! I remember in my school years when we did STEM and having so much fun with the experimenting through all subjects. STEAM, unlike STEM, has art incorporated, which I think is super important for the little ones, for self expression and freedom of creating. I am happy to be a part of this educationally growing family. I know the children’s education and wellbeing come first and no doubt this school exercising this! Children learn in so many different ways and Children of America- Mohegan Lake definitely acknowledges the importance. Thank you!

This daycare is I believe the best in the area. Children get a huge gym, outdoor play yard (thats not dirt or wood chips), summer time they have the water pad. They move from room to gym and aren't stuck in one place all day. They have iPads for technology learning, sports training, and meals all included. This is a great place for my son.

Our daughter is going here, and she loves it. The staff is friendly and professional and I can't recommend Children of America enough if you're looking for a place for your child to go!

State of the art facility, instead of children staying in the room all day they have a huge gym, outdoor play park, and outdoor water park. I highly recommend!

As of 10/5/2020 I have had many bad experiences with COA. My son has been going there since he was 9 months, he is now 4. We are looking for a new place. Communication is horrible, they will put important information in my child's bag instead of emailing us. The Director, Assistant Director, and multiple teachers quit within weeks of each other. The new administration and crew have consistently given different stories about multiple simple things. We have always taken a blanket, pillow, and a snuggy animal for my son to sleep with. The teacher put in Tadpoles, the app used to inform parents of a child's daily activity, that kids can't bring in toys to include stuffed animals. We called the front desk to verify they meant to include my child's sleep animal and they said sleep animals were fine just not toys. As of 10/5/2020 the teacher is telling me the that is not okay. The point is simple, as a parent it is not easy. We pay $1400+ a month of a safe a easy place to take our child. That is not the case with Children of America in Mohegan Lake, NY anymore. A few weeks ago we were told we could not bring our child in 5 days a week because a teacher's kids had to homeschool due to COVID-19. When I asked the director why this was not directly communicated to me or my wife they told me it was in a note in my kids bag that I never got. Additionally she said the reason was because two teachers in all of the school could not attend due to non-covid medical reasons. In some fairness they deducted the days they told us my son couldn't come in but the toll on my wife and trying to reschedule work and life appointments was not worth the daily refund in our honest opinion. We have a 4 year old and one on the way. We are not sure if the 4 year old will stay until Kindergarten next year but I am positive our child will not be attending Children of America at Mohegan Lake.

It's a sham, they're racist, scam artists and thieves.
First time, I walked in with my wife and 3 year old child , we were looked at with a long face . They were surprised that we speak and understand English. Maureen ( CED) is the most racist, rude and has no respect.
All they care about is to enroll your child in and charge you money. My child has not started yet and was already charged, when I saw the way we are going to be treated, I called and spoke to Wlison (director) and I explained what is my position, she did not care. I asked for the money to be refunded and she said we do not refund money.
If you have a skin color other than white and you speak other language other than English or even speak English with an accent, you're being looked at with a racist look. I tried my best to overlook that, but there's no way but to notice.
