Covered Wagon Resort

I am staying here through the winter in one of their cottages, and it has been amazing to say the least. Beds are comfortable, nicely decorated, clean room, fireplace w/ electric insert makes it really nice. Very affordable as well. Customer service is over the top good

My family and I came as complete strangers, and we left feeling like a part of their family! All of the staff were super friendly and it was a very comfortable, convenient stay. Great location near many of the spots we wanted to see. Very reasonable pricing. They even hosted a BBQ for everyone who was staying there!

The manager is pretty nice and friendly. Nice please. Been there few times. Pretty happy with it

We really enjoyed our camping visit this weekend at The Covered Wagon Resort. It is close to a lot of Cool places to visit. The staff is very friendly. They are very pet friendly too! The next time we come visit my husband and I are going to try out their cabins.

My wife and i have stayed at the COVERED WAGON RESORT 8 years in a row.There is a nice woman named PENNY who owns the place,if you need something she will help you or point you in the right direction. She has ice there night or day.There is a gas station down the road and grocery store and Elk Creek steak house.It is between Rapid city and Sturgis, right off I-90.It is a nice place to relax after a long day of riding and site seeing.There are lots of trees, great places to camp and cabins if you want.The people you see come back every year,so hopefullly i will see you this year. Came from Omaha NE to live up in AD love this campground. The owners are wonderful people soooo good we are now moving from cabin into our home right here..Highly recommend. ..

The new owner is great, many new upgrades to existing facilities, many amenities. Beautiful location, Not far from sturgis or rapid city.
