Food was delicious and the ambience was great. The service was outstanding, our server Lauren was amazing and full of positive vibes.

We came two days in a row. The Irish Benedict, avocado toast, lumberjack breakfast and avocado Benedict were delicious. We also tried the fancy tater tots and macademia cookie which were very good. For drinks, we ordered the Chai tea latte. All yummy and we look forward to coming back here next time we are in Newport!

Absolutely amazing! Food was delicious and service was incredible! We had a large party and they helped us with tables and high chairs. Espresso was perfect, and regular coffee was delicious. We will be going back again!!

A lively, light, and inviting space with friendly staff and great food. Ordered not your average BLT, egg sausage sandwich, kid cheeseburger, tater tots, blueberry muffin, and blueberry muffle pie. Understimated a large plate of tater tots and had to pack to go.

Delightful brunch on the weekends, and I'm looking forward to trying the breakfast and lunch menu later on. I thoroughly enjoyed the crab cake Benedict, if I had any complaints about it, they'd be to use more hollandaise sauce, and make the crab cakes crunchy, for some reason they just seemed soft instead of being nicely fried. We also had a scone, which was quite good, as well as a couple of the coffee drinks which were delicious. I have the full 5 stars because everything all together was a fantastic experience, even though there could be improvements.

Stuffed cookies are BOMB. Bacon Potato hash is great. Really good sandwiches. And the turnaround time is AMAZING. Do not be fooled by the big line

First time visitor, and I’m sold! I have not been a big fan of many restaurants since moving to RI a year and a half ago—with either customer service or taste of food. Y’all are winners—polite, friendly, professional, and serving up delicious, quality, affordable food. Please keep it up! I’m going back to work to tell all of my coworkers about you!

On a recommendation from the lovely lady who took my order, I got the Bellevue Burrito. It was delicious! I also got a triple shot Pumpkin Latte. It wasn’t too sweet, but it also didn’t taste like straight milk, which a lot of non-chain/Starbucks foofoo espresso drinks often do. I would definitely get both again.

such a delicious breakfast! and quite generous with the portion sizes too. I especially love that you order at the counter & seat yourself. it was quite busy when we visited but if you can snag a table, it's a nice place for a solid brunch.

When my wife and I visit from Boston, we enjoy eating at Cru Cafe because of the variety of nice food options. The service is quick and the food is tasty. We are pleased with the expanded space.

After spending several hours at the Breakers and Elms, we looked for a place to grab lunch. Not too far of a walk from the Elms (maybe 15 minutes, max), is Bellevue Plaza--and there you'll find Cru Cafe.

This place wins on all three levels: the food tastes incredible (both breakfast and lunch), service is fast and personable, and the atmosphere is unique, immersive, and welcoming. The open-doored entry helps bring the "outdoors" indoors, so whether you dine inside or outside, you feel like you're in an open-air space. There's a lot of fun decor to soak up--including green plants to help soothe the mind. There are bathrooms and complementary Wi-fi, not to mention an outdoor picnic-bench area where pets are welcomed to join in the fun.

The food is excellent. Everyone in my 4-person party ordered something different and we all agreed on the quality, flavor, and portion sizes being on-point. You can order breakfast or lunch, as well as enjoy a wide selection of bakery items (muffins, coffee cake, scones, "handpies," and more). I highly recommend it!

Place is perfect for a quick and tasty bite. I got the loaded avocado toast and a blueberry muffin, which came out really fast. Food tasted fresh and left me content. Staff was friendly, place had a clean and casual feel to it. I definitely recommend and would love to come back and try their lunch menu sometime!

Food was delicious and there are sooo many options to choose from. We had lunch there and all 4 of us enjoyed our dishes. The cookies are also amazing. Service was great all around and service is fast. Don't be fazed by the lines, it moves really fast. Everyone is so nice. They also have water and coffee out. Will definitely dine in again when in town

Cru cafe is beyond incredible! It is not only incredible food; but it is the owner and staff behind the establishment that make this the 💎 gem it is. We are so happy we met Keith and found Cru. I will always go here each time I am in Newport! Do not miss your chance to experience this cafe next time you are in Newport!

Best breakfast spot! Loved this place, we waited only about 10 mins the line moves quickly. Staff was very welcoming and they are were a very efficient team. After placing the order we waited a few mins for a table to be available and got coffee in the interim. Once getting a table, the food came out shortly after delivered to the table. I got a breakfast sandwich and my wife got the Avocado toast. Both dishes were delicious and recommend this spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch (multiple menus for any appetite).

The staff was also very accommodating to dietary needs of their guests. My wife has a dairy allergy and they ensured that it would be cooked without and butter or cheese. While sitting at the table also overheard conversation of another patron regarding the oils they use to cook with. Overall had a great experience and start to our day here, will definitely be back!

Very good food, quick service, even though it was very full. I had a ' Not xour usual BLT' Sandwich. It was very good. And the coffee was good too.

Delicious Apple Cider Donut! It was still warm! Tasty Loaded Tater Tots. Friendly Peeps make me want to return. Cool atmosphere very hip.

Great little breakfast/brunch spot tucked away in a corner. We waited in what looked like a long line, but it moved super quickly and only took like 8-10 mins. Got the quinoa scramble which was super tasty, and an unsweetened ice tea. The service was pretty quick and our food came out within 10-15ish minutes. Would definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a nice chill place for brunch!

Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed.
The roast beef sandwich was cooked perfectly. Service was superb and pretty quick during the lunch rush. Staff was great as always.

Not from the area, went to visit the mansions and my girl saw it on google. Decided to go and wasn't disappointed. The staff was all very friendly, the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The place itself is also very nice. Will deff go there again the next time I'm in Newport.
