Newport Ace Hardware

The layout is unlike any other hardware store. You will need help there your first time, but everyone there is so friendly and nice it doesn't matter. Lots of on the shelf moulding and trim. They mix paint. They have those crazy nails that one psycho likes to use. Hidden gem. I hate Middletown home cheapo.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I’d barely walked into the store, when a man asked if he could help. He most certainly did! He figured out how to get to the battery on car key fob and replaced it for me. Only charged for the battery and even chipped in 5 cents. I truly appreciate his help. I had stopped at three different places and they were unwilling to spend the time to help. What a relief while on vacation to get such personal service!

In town for a wedding and needed to purchase a screwdriver to remove blocks on my window to enjoy the beautiful fresh air and met the nicest man. Helpful, kind and really made my day!, Thank you Emanuel… great guys very helpful.

Wanted the new blue Weber grille so called them. Two days later the grille is delivered to my house all put together by two friendly guys. I needed screws to reconnect our flat screen TV so stopped in and one of the friendly guys found the perfect match. Fixed my screen door lock. This is all within a month of moving here. I’m like, what the heck, this kind of store actually exists??? Big stores can’t come close to the service at this place.
