Blue Iguana - Tequila Bar

There's very little that I love seeing more than the word "vegan" on a menu at a restaurant! 🌮 Especially when we're talking tacos! Taking the guesswork out is so refreshing.

Last week we ate on the beautiful patio near the water at Blue Iguana - what a great first impression! Brooke had such friendly and fast service without making us feel rushed at all.

I ordered the vegan tacos and they were juicy and flavorful - with the side of rice and some leftover guac, it was perfect! Maybe some Cholula next time

I highly recommend enjoying a cruise with Portage Lakes Cruises then enjoying some delicious food here! A perfect day.

I stopped in for a quick drink and appetizer, and it did NOT disappoint.

I came around 12, and it was relatively slow. I had a sangria with the Momias Appetizer, then followed up with a Don Julio Blanco and Oj (which I poured into the remainder of my sangria, and it was SO good).

The servers Brooke and Jordynn were very friendly, and the drinks were very good. They went the extra mile with the garnishment on the drinks. They looked beautiful, and tasted great.

The food came out quickly and was not only very visually appealing, it was crisped to perfection.

There was also more shrimp than I was expecting, and were even de-veined, and de-tailed, which I really liked.

I get this dish often, and this has so far been my favorite variation of it.

The patio is also very nice to just sit and watch the boats, jet skis, and people on the lake.

Would definitely enjoy lunch here again.

Woww!! The Blue Iguana will leave you wanting more absolutely perfect! The food leaves you yearning for more , the service was beyond perfect, and the scenery on the water was just the perfect topping on a perfect place ! This is a must experience, and then just make it one of your favorite go-to places ! Best white queso I have ever had !

Loved the atmosphere and outdoor seating. The fajita lunch special was really good. My favorite was the mango guacamole. It was definitely enough to share with 4 adults. We will definitely be back!

Great staff! Great location, right on the water! Love the food! My favorites are the Mango Guacamole and I add corn, huge portion! I also love the Ceviche, Queso Fundido, and the ground beef tacos add pico de gallo. Margaritas and Paloma are excellent too! I have met friends here a lot! Keep up the great work!

Great addition to the lakes. The food and service have always been great. The patio seats could be upgraded to something more sturdy to accommodate most people. Overall a good time, and we will be back. ** Update we went back tonight and as always the food was great and the service was awsome.

Service is always excellent, location is right on the water, and a great taste in music.

Quick food recommendation Steak quesadilla, add cilantro sour cream and lettuce on the side.

Tip request the creamy chipotle sauce.

My family is regular customers including myself. Great food, great service, and a friendly environment. Very easy to come sit down, have a drink, and eat some good food!

This place has amazing Mexican food. Would be a blast to go in the summer time with the decks outside right on the lake. Loved my experience and the decor is awesome.

Had an awesome time for lunch on a bike ride with a friend. Service was terrific as well as the food. Ashley and haley did a great job. Will deff will be back on the bike when the warm season comes back around!

Great food, great drinks, really glad they opened up. Good vegetarian and vegan options. Really enjoyed the avocado tacos.

Excellent overall experience food was priced right and very tasty. The views from anywhere inside the restaurant give you an overview of the Lake and is very inviting.

Excellent service. Large portions of excellent food. Huge windows overlooking the Portage Lake with all the boats, kayaks going by. Just fun and relaxing

Finally got to stop and dock the boat and have some lunch. This place is great right on the water, great food equally great service,have stopped twice now for lunch and drinks,food is well prepared and reasonably priced and the drinks are WOW!! We really enjoyed our time spent here and will be back regardless of whether we're on the boat or not. We'll done Blue Iguana were hooked.

Every time I come in, whether summer or winter, We get great service. The staff are friendly and the food is great! If you are expecting fast service in the summer, you are in the wrong place! This place is packed in the summer and is very busy and the whole staff hustles and it is a lot of fun! Highly recommend this place! The tequila list is always growing with a great selection!

I've been here a couple of Sundays for lunch, last year and this year, and have always had a great experience! The chips and salsa are awesome - authentic Mexican-style. I also love the street tacos and enchiladas. The margaritas are great, too.

Delicious food and great atmosphere for sitting lake side and enjoying sun, water and conversation. Little bit of a wait for service, but they were short staffed and even so, everyone was extremely kind and the tasty food and beverages make you quickly forget about any wait times. Will definitely be back!
