Grab a table outside if you can. Loved the Masterpiece sandwich. Very good. I saw a lot of dishes coming out of the noticeboard and everything looked good. Many people were ordering the burrito covered. I tried the pork green Stew also. Good stuff.

Came here multiple times during my 3 days in Vail. This place is one of those eateries that is just amazingly delicious. Every plate I had was full of flavor, delicious, plentiful and quickly served! Definitely give this place a try. Be warned that it gets VERY busy at certain times and finding a table can be an issue. The breakfast burrito & crepe - wow!

Quaint little bistro with walk up ordering. Sandwiches were amazing. I had the club with avocado and my spouse had the BLAT (bacon lettuce avocado and tomato).

great place to grab lunch in vail village. lots of different sandwiches and soups. everything came out super hot and delicious. definitely would return here. is a tad bit busy and not a ton of space in side to sit down

We had one of the best experiences at Big Bear Bistro. The service was phenomenal, the food was delicious, and Vidette, along with her staff, were very attentive. They made our gender reveal very special and helped in every way they could. Definitely recommend 👌

Amazing breakfast/lunch spot. We tried all the breakfast sandwiches and Nutella crepes. Conveniently located next to the gondola- food was amazing and quick! If you’re trying to get in/out recommend getting here first thing when they open.

Friendly staff but a really small place. My biggest complaint is because it’s so tiny, when we were sitting to eat, the bathroom door was wide open. Since no one closed it for a solid 15-20 mins, it smelled like a port-a-Jon (not how you spell but you get the idea). That smell kinda ruined my appetite, TBH. That’s why they get a 0 for atmosphere.

Delicious sandwich after downhill mountain biking? Count me in. I stopped by here last weekend and had the Lumberjack sandwich which is an in house cooked roast beef, caramelized onions, Monterrey jack cheese, and horseradish aioli. One bit and I realized that this may very well be one of my favorite sandwich spots in Colorado. My friends got the Masterpiece sandwich and said it was amazing as well! Also heard from the locals that their breakfast burritos are great, too! Highly recommend this spot if you’re ever in Vail!

I had breakfast here three times while in Vail. Their food is great and it is one of the few places you can get it to go and actually eat it walking around. I had a sausage burrito, bacon burrito, sausage croissant and also tried their green chili pork sauce. All of it was really good! There isn't much seating inside but I would recommend sitting outside anyway and enjoy the scenery. The people here are kind and willing to serve. That goes a long way in this area! This place is awesome.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! Small bistro that serves absolutely excellent food. The croissant sandwich is delicious as well as the croissant french toast. The coffee is great and the staff is down to earth, and not pretentious at all which is a breath of fresh air here in Vail. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience at Big Bear Bistro! We stopped there on the way home from Aspen and absolutely LOVED the food. The masterpiece sandwich was delicious and so was the Da Vinci bagel! The hot chocolate wasn't too sweet which is always a plus. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I recommend this place

Another small and quaint place for breakfast. We were staying at Avon so we had to drive up here but it is convenient as there's free parking at the transportation center. It is approximately less than a 5 minute walk. There is an all day breakfast and lunch options. I had the yoghurt parfait which was good and my husband and son both got the omelette and sandwich respectively.

Nice atmosphere especially if you eat out side; it is by the creek. Okay latte; No Splenda but super in the raw.. I enjoyed a strawberry & banana crepe; traditional, no extra butter or sugar but I'm sure I could have asked as Strawberry/Banana was a request. Good with whipped cream and powdered sugar (real fruit). Large portion. I 'm happy.

Anna and Milica are the greatest of all time, not to mention everyone else who works there. The service is fast, the food is delicious. Great portion size, great options, friendly faces. Could not recommend more! My favorite spot in the village

Eat local food from Colorado at Big Bear Bistro! 🐻 this restaurant is great for a quick and tasty meal (truly fast and fresh). Be it breakfast, lunch or a drink, visiting the bistro on your visit to Vail surely is a good idea. You won't be disappointed! The service is always friendly and attentive.

Love this place. Less formal than other spots in town and really yummy sandwiches. Veggie sandwich was very good. Breakfast sandwich was mid.

Everything on the menu is fantastic. I come several times each week for years now. The staff is always super friendly.

They were super friendly and provided great service despite large parties before us not tipping on $70 orders. Food was great, very reasonably priced for Vail. Large portions. Everyone in my party enjoyed the food and left happy and full! Thanks Big Bear Bistro!

Delicious breakfast, everyone enjoyed what they got. Service was fast after the order was placed. Definitely some of the best food we’ve had so far on the trip.
