Amazing experience today at the ski barn getting 5 kids set up with ski gear. The staff was super friendly and very helpful during a time of year that had got to be super busy and higher stress with all the spring breakers. Appreciate it and would highly recommend.

These guys are absolute miracle workers with fitting ski boots. Jason spent so much effort to specifically understand what I was feeling, and then immediately knew what he needed to do to fix it. End result is the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned that still give me complete control. Absolute night and day difference. Jason and Brad are the best!

We had phenomenal customer service here! We rented skis Christmas day and they didn't open until noon (which was more than fine by us) but they still offered to come meet us before they opened. we waited until noon, got tremendous service fitting, and then they even gave us a refund for a halfday. They went above and beyond and we're beyond grateful.

Super fast shipping and arrived in time for Christmas! My husband loves the new ski boots and said they were the most comfortable boots he has ever had in his 55 years of skiing!

I bought some skis from Bill at the Ski Barn during the Ski Swap in Albuquerque. After the first season we noticed a defect and contacted the ski manufacturer to have it fixed. They referred us back to Ski Barn and to their credit Ski Barn took up the issue with the manufacturer on our behalf and it was resolved to our full satisfaction. Not all retailers demonstrate this level of support and integrity. I highly recommend Ski Barn and greatly appreciate how they helped us get a positive outcome.

Best boot fitter around! Jason in particular is an absolute master at his craft, and has great customer service skills to go along with his wealth of knowledge and work ethic. If you need custom work done to your boot he’s the man to talk to!

I wasn't quite sure when I bought my ski's (Blizzard Brahma 88 SP 2023) from Brad & team if they were going to be exactly as pictured, advertised, or if something would not be as easy as it appeared, but boy was I in for a treat! Not only did they expedite them to ship same day, but they came exactly as pictured and before the promised delivery date. Fast forward 14 months, I was in Durango and was excited to stop by the Ski Barn and meet the wonderful staff. Not only were they educated and helpful, but they have an amazing selection and a pair of boots that worked perfectly for my foot and skiing style (Fischer RC4 120 MV BOA). I didn't buy them at the time, and regretted it a few hours later. 3 days go by, I see the boots are still in stock online. I call Brad, 20 minutes later, they are shipped out and on their way. These folks just get it. Customer Service, kindness, full service, effecient and LOYAL. I may not return to Durango as soon as I'd like, but I will always give Ski Barn my business...

This place is awesome!! Brad was extremely helpful getting me and my partner fitted for new gear. He identified the issue I've been having with my previous boots and spent ample time going through our sizing and ski style to get the perfect set of gear. His customer service was outstanding. I will only ever be going here for my ski and Mt biking needs!!! Plus they have deals that are untouchable by any big box retailer. Absolutely phenomenal experience.

I ordered prior season snowboard boots and was notified the next work day that they were out of stock. Ski Barn substituted the same boot with this season’s model and still honored the amazing sale price.
They were so quick to answer my questions and shipped the boots that same day.
Ski Barn is now my Go To place for my equipment!

After 10 years I decided to replace my skis. Brad hooked me up with a fantastic recommendation. A couple other employees came by to chat and opine about skis as well. They were able to get bindings mounted and equipment all ready to go while I had lunch. Prices are excellent. Employees are happy. Service is noteworthy.

We rented ski and snowboard gear from the original north location during the Christmas break. Parking at the north location is a challenge during busy times and we did have to endure fairly long lines and wait for a bit at both pick up and drop off. But hey, what do you expect when you're there at the VERY busiest time of the year. Do yourself a favor, reserve online ahead of time. It's much easier if you do. And if it's one of those days when you know it's going to be crowded, you might want to try the new south location.

More importantly, the people at Ski Barn are great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. All the gear we rented, 3 sets of skis/boots and 2 snowboard packages, was in good condition. Snowboard boots I rented had BOA lace system, which is SO much easier than tie up laces. I can't say enough about how nice the staff was, even in the midst of getting slammed with business between Christmas and New Years with plenty of fresh snow falling.

My son bought a pair of goggles which he managed to scratch on our first day. Angie, the owner/manager, sold him a new pair at 50% off. We also returned our gear a day earlier than planned and they happily refunded our unused day.

Brad helped my husband and I with new boots and skis yesterday at the north location. He is one of the best boot fitters we've worked with! He's extremely knowledgeable, a good listener and really easy to work with. Ski barn has a great selection of boots and skis and prices are fair. Make an appointment with Brad!

Update: We had to come back because the boots turned out to be really uncomfortable. Avery hooked me up though and found a pair for me that fit better. She was awesome!

Had a bit of a wait but they take their time to make sure you are fitted well with everything! Extremely friendly staff and stayed open past 6 to take care of everyone which they shouldn't have to.

The only place I will go in Durango for assistance with my gear! The Ski Barn has always exceeded my expectations concerning customer service, and rates. Tim recently helped me get setup with a new snowboarding deck and bindings. It was an easy and smooth experience. I will be back for any future needs!

Ordered some skis online from these guys. Ended up not having the 2 season old models I ordered on sale, so shipped latest model. Great communication and fast shipping. Would use again for sure!

Rented snowboard boots for 3 days, they compare about the same as other prices in the area. The boots were in good condition and fit the size listed.

I had a special circumstance regarding returning the rentals and the staff was very accommodating and fair. Very good experience.

Ordered some JJs for my son. Brad was awesome, asked how soon he could get some Attack 11s mounted and shipped out, he said he could get them out in the morning. Cannot beat that service as it was around 4pm when I ordered them. He called next day to confirm they shipped in the AM and gave me tracking number. They fit the boots I told him my son was wearing perfectly, only had to adjust AFD setting slightly. Son loves his new sticks and we hit the slopes Thursday. Huge thanks to Brad and Ski Barn.
