The Gaslight Dining Saloon

Stopped in by chance and was blown away!! The steak special was PHENOMENAL and the desserts were top notch. We had one bite left but still brought it home to finish later- it was that good! I would say the best part, tho, was the service. Our server Gary was so friendly and personable. And the manager Nick was helping any way he could, made sure our food was exactly how we wanted it and even chatted about wine with us! The place was packed and there were only 2 servers and one bartender but they were on top of everything and had smiles on their faces all night. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Excellent food, but even better service. We went there for dinner during all 4 days of our trip and received the best care. They even gave us recommendations on what to see in the area.

And some days you can enjoy live amazing music.

Stopped in here with some girlfriends and we were all so pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent along with the wine selection. The steaks (special menu item) were amazing along with the desserts (made in house and seriously AMAZING! 🙌🏼)

The most memorable was by and far the service- it was a busy Friday night and we were greeted with smiles and kindness from every single person. The manager, Nick, regularly checked on us to ensure everything was above expectations. Our server, Gary, was prompt and accurate with our orders went above and beyond to recommend the best of the menu to us. As we were leaving, we wanted a picture to commemorate our evening and one of the waitresses gladly helped take our picture and made it so fun.

We will for sure be back and cannot recommend this place enough! It’s a must stop if you’re in Keystone!

We’d heard this was a go-to place from some locals. It didn’t disappoint.

The food was good, especially the Cajun jambalaya. We also had the country fried steak, which was good but you may want an extra side of gravy.

The Chislic was a fun, yummy appetizer, as was the Gaslight chips and cheese dip. Very hearty appetizer.

Service was great. They had live music, which was not the most amazing (on the night we went), but added to the fun atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Didn’t need a reservation for a party of 5 on a Friday night.

Would for sure go back.

Excellent food. Service good, a bit of a slow start, but picked up nicely. Waitress was absolutely charming, checking on us often, other servers smiling and helpful, but hostess QUITE Surley. Lol. Weird strawberry spiked lemonade, but beer and burger and Adult Grilled Cheese to die for!

Great food, fun atmosphere, and wonderful service. This place was recommended by a family friend, and it did not disappoint. We visited on a Thursday, and were excited to see they had live music that evening! :) The band played with a sort of Appalachian folk sound, and was wonderful! We had the Chislic appetizer - it was fabulous! We were given a charcuterie plate with delicious cheeses, prosciutto, fruit, and spicy walnuts - compliments of the chef. We still aren't totally sure why, but it was SO good, and so nice to be surprised with that - thanks Chef!! The Cajun Pasta was delicious, with lots of meat, and great flavor. The sweetness of the red peppers was a perfect compliment to the spices in the sauce. My mother had the Spicy Chicken Salad, and loved it. Our server, Nate, was very nice and personable. :) Would definitely recommend, and visit again!

We stunbled upon this restaurant and couldn't have been happier with our find.Staff and food was out of this world. Sweet potato fries were so soft and Buffalo burger was cooked to perfection 🥰. #DTNlivinglife

Loved the food and the staff! Staff were helpful and patient. Made an excellent ice cream waffle sundae and burger!

I loved the atmosphere at The Gaslight. It's got a clean, rustic look and was spacious. The food was good and reasonably priced. I got the Indian Taco. I'd never had one, but it had alot of flavor. I've posted a picture of it.

The desert was good. We tried the pecan pie, blueberry pie, and the cheesecake. The pecan pie was by far my favorite.

We got there an hour before closing in the off season and they were gracious and stayed open later because other places were closed and they knew a basketball tournament had just gotten finished and many hungry people were looking for a place to eat.

We've been coming here for a while and we love it. The few times we've had a bit of a wait the food made it all worth it :)

Our food was terrific, our server was attentive, happy to serve us and friendly! Portions were large and would be filling for any appetite. My ribeye was cooked to perfection and the Cajun pasta had by my company was said to be delicious also! A bit pricey, (ribeye was $49!) but great food if you're splurging!

First of all prices are great. Even though they were packed we got our food very fast. Food was good. Interior is precious! Will definitely return!

I thourly enjoyed my burger and beer here. They had good country music playing and outstanding service from our rock-Billy /biker babe waitress. Thank you we will be back!!!

Just like my favorite restaurant in my hometown. Great food, I had the bison burger. A must have while in SD. Also recommend the chislic.

Good food. Came quickly. Our waiter was fabulous. There was a curly, auburn haired waitress with bright lipstick who cussed every time she walked away from a table. People would ask for a box, split ticket, ranch, etc and she'd walk away whispering "are you bleeping kidding me?", Jeezus cripes", etc. She had 2 tables. Not sure what she does when she is busy.

Great food and drinks! The steak salad and burger were fantastic. The rest of the menu looks great as well, and it was clean and quiet in the middle of the day. We will definitely be back!

Great place to eat and great beer. Burger is a little dry, but worth it.
