I went in last week to adopt a cat and was greeted immediately by the lady up front. She helped guide me through the process of adopting a cat and let me go check the cats they had available before I started the paper work to get approved for the adoption. I saw so many wonderful cats there and one caught my eye immediately. His name is Psalm. I kept going back to him several times, he would reach out to me wanting me to pet him and show him some attention. Even when I would try to pet the other Cats above his cage he would paw at my hand. The staff was very helpful in helping out a cat. I met Gleeson and he was a cute and fluffy kitty. But I think I knew I wanted Psalm from the beginning so I took him home with me. And he loves his new home and he makes me very happy. My cat Mr. Billy wasn't so pleased at first, but over time they started to get along and been bumping each other's noses. It's so cute! Soon they will become great friends to each other!

Beautiful animals, super clean adoption areas, and play rooms. You can tell the employees enjoy what they do, and really work with the animals to try and get them more socialized. Thank you for all you do for Warren county's furr babies.

They really care about ALL of the shelter animals. I would highly recommend adopting from this shelter.

We had a great experience getting our fur baby at the Humane Society of Warren County!

They have an incredible staff who obviously care about the animals and who will work with you to find a perfect match. Our experience was seamless and the pre work (shots, microchip, etc.) they did was awesome and well worth the adoption fee. Plus their facility is great.

Thanks again!

We adopted Neko officially today. The staff was great and compassionate. In the photo you have a Christmas puppy that is worn out.

I'm very grateful these folks are here to help animals in need. I've only been here to donate items but the staff have always been very friendly and the animals seem well cared for

Phenomenal Humane Society! Better than any of the ten states I've lived in. People get upset that they can't take in ten or twenty feral kittens or cats and one star review them or come up with hateful things! There's literally an organization called "For The Cat's Sake" and even they can't do immediate help/acceptance of a dozen feral kittens.

If these kinds of places started doing that they'd run out of money and not be able to properly care for every animal. To the lady who claims these folks stole her dog, they didn't. You legally surrendered her to new owners and never had them sign a contract stating they were/are to give her back, should they no longer be able to keep her. It was only verbal. Why would you attempt to get her back, if you couldn't keep her in the first place?

The shelter made the right decision given the circumstances. Please don't hate them because you gave up your dog to the wrong people..

Thank you for your service everyone at Humane Society.

I had been looking for a kitten, saw "Judy" online, and had to meet her. I live in Germantown, MD and wasn't sure if I was too far out of the area to adopt, but decided to go ahead and put in an application that night. To my pleasant surprise, I received a call the next morning letting me know that I had been approved to adopt! I made an appointment and visited the shelter on Sunday. The shelter was very clean, and the staff let me take my time visiting. The cats and kittens all appeared healthy and well socialized. I took Judy, now called Bijou, home with me that day, and she has been a delightful addition to my family! I would highly recommend the Warren County Humane Society to anyone looking to adopt a new four-legged family member.

I happened into an event with these folks at the local petco. We weren't planning on a pet, but there was a cat we just fell in love with. We visited the shelter the next day to adopt him, and it was a great experience. It's obvious everyone there loves their work, and they want good homes for all the animals. We were able to bring Snowman home, and the rest is history. We couldn't have had a better experience.

Friendly, patient, and professional management. I met with Gillian, their Feline Kennel Manager, and surrendered a stray/lost kitty who's owner or home I hadn't managed to find. The kitty is going to find a home quick with the awesome staff there on the case!

Have adopted two healthy, happy kittens from this shelter. The animals are well cared for, the facility is clean and the staff works hard and are pleasant and helpful. If you live in Warren County consider helping these people. They serve the needs of our community. I am sure they always need volunteers and donations are always welcome. Simple household items like used towels and blankets are always welcome at any shelter. Just make sure they are clean. They don't have to be pretty to keep a puppy or kitten warm at night. I donate both money and supplies to this shelter as I can.

Got an amazing cat named Ava here. Was one of the best things we've done. She is the sweetest thing! Spent 15 bucks, she's all up on her shots and spayed! Which probably would have cost 1k if she wasn't adopted. O recommend at least everybody adopt one pet in their lifetime and go from there with any future pets.

Nice, clean facility and staff. I was able to donate my dog beds there after she passed away.

You guys helped me find my love, my best friend. I had no intentions of truly adopting a dog that day, although I had been looking to adopt one in the near future. I drove out from Leesburg to attend an event at a local pet store, just to look. We got there and it was just cats that you were adopting out, so your wonderful, friendly assistants directed us right to the humane society where we could find the pups.
There I found this cute and sweet little girl, pushing her butt as close to me through the fencing as she could. I loved her right then and there. It's almost been a year now that we've had her and she's changed my life.
You all were very helpful during the entire process of adopting her, helpful with the micro-chipping and printing me as much of her information as you had. I couldn't be happier to have had this experience. Then Daisy, now Rey has found her forever home and we love her so so much!

My wife and I visit this place a couple of times a months. We bring treats with us to give to the dogs and cats. Always fun. The staff is friendly and eager to help. There is a dog, pitbull mix named Zoey. She barks aggressively, but she is very sweet and friendly once you get to know her. I wish to see her adopted soon.

We adopted a kitten there around Christmas time. Her name was Miss Marble. We changed it to Onyx and she is as sweet as can be. The group of ladies that helped us find her were friendly and helpful. Thank you all very much for our little Onyx.
