Kind, courteous, and professional staff that went above and beyond to make our stay phenomenal! Bianca, we love you and her manager, I believe, Karleesha, was her name obviously has amazing leadership skills as she runs a fantastic team! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful and we've already booked rooms to be back next month.

The staff was so friendly. Everyone said good morning and was pleasant. I'm not used to staff being this happy , polite and professional. The rooms were very clean and welcoming. Raisin Cains next door was a plus, plus. I definitely plan to return to the Courtyard when I go back to Virginia.

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels over the years but I have to say, this was the best one. Keena and her staff were beyond amazing and made me feel like I was at home with my own family. I was here for a work trip and I saw them on many occasions walking through the lobby. I truly am going to miss talking to them and getting to know them. I would 110% recommend this hotel to anyone. I hope keena and her staff get a raise or something because that’s the bare minimum of what they deserve. I can’t say enough how great they are, I’ve been away from my family for over a year and it was nice to feel home again. Thank you.

First at this hotel but the experience was good. I really didn't have to deal with staff, so I can't say much about them. I will definitely stay at this location again, my experience was good.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed! It was a last minute, unexpected stay but we were welcomed warmly when we arrived. They had our room ready, which was very clean and comfortable. In the morning, the front desk was able to provide a toothbrush since I didn't have one. Front desk staff Desire & Keena were especially kind & respectful. 100% recommended.

Courtyard Marriott at Yorktown really outdid themselves this last weekend during my stay. I had planned a surprise first anniversary trip for me and my wife. I contacted them the day before our stay to ask about how I could have anniversary flowers delivered to the front desk for Saturday since I didn’t know my room number yet (on the Thursday before). I was met with an immediate response that the Courtyard family was going to go ahead and block off our room and would put the flowers IN the room PRIOR to our arrival. Making the flowers a complete and total shock to my deserving wife. This alone was ABOVE and BEYOND! However the Courtyard family didn’t stop there. They went as far as to upgrade our room to have a balcony!! I was floored! The Friday before our stay I called to check and be sure the flowers had been delivered and they had. I asked the staff how they looked and they ensured me they were perfect! It was at this point that the HIGHLIGHT of my stay happened, even before I ever stepped foot in Yorktown!!! This staff member asked me what my wife and I’s PRONOUNS WERE!! They wanted to be sure they got them right for our stay! This in itself was enough to continue my loyalty with Marriott. Like the old infomercials always said “ but wait there’s more”…. We arrived at the hotel and walked into our room and even I had been surprised. They had packed us bags of snacks, set the flowers in the perfect place AND arranged WINE and A PERSONALIZED CARD for us. I have been with Marriott all of my adult life and I will never go anywhere else. The family at Courtyard Yorktown made sure my wife and I’s very first wedding anniversary was perfect in every way! Choose Marriott and I know you won’t be disappointed.

The staff is very helpful and courteous. The establishment is very clean and organized. They went above a beyond to give good service. We had our additional necessities in our room upon arrival that we ordered from the app. We had gift bags for our children and a special note for us to welcome us to the hotel. This was very sweet and professional. I was impressed and felt welcomed as an ambassador member.

My recent stay at this facility was one of my better hotel experiences in my life! The entire hotel felt clean and every staff member greeted me with a smile. They were especially helpful with my request for fresh, hypoallergenic pillows. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful hotel!! Spotless rooms (I think they even steamed the bed linens! I was very impressed) Friendly staff during my stay. I accidentally left my iPad Pro out on the nightstand while I was gone but no one touched it :)

Normally I stay at the Hilton garden Inn but they were all booked up. The front desk clerk gave me some solid suggestions for drinks and food in the area. The accommodations were clean, and they have a hot tub 🙌. I can't think of anything bad to say about the place.

This was my first visit to this particular Courtyard and it continued to uphold my standards in all Marriott properties. The rooms were spacious and clean. My particular room had a small balcony, I loved being able to open the door to let in a breeze. The Bistro was well staffed and knowledgeable about their products. Exterior of The property was very well kept and clean. The gym is my only negative comment. It lacked a stationary bicycle, something I look for in hotel gyms. The surrounding area felt safe and had many food options around. I could easily walk to four restaurants without crossing any major intersections or roads. I will definitely stay at this property again and will recommend to anyone on the fence about it.

Entire facility has gone way down hill. No free breakfast, room decor is very aged. Some furniture not the greatest. Cleaning staff does need to be commended for the prompt courteousness. Need something, they accommodated without a problem. Bravo to them.

Very nice employees at the desk. Wonderful customer service on the phone before I might stay and during my stay. Very helpful. Clean rooms. Nice and quiet.

I stayed at this Marriott on business. The front desk professionals were super friendly and the customer service was excellent. I don't want to forget the other staff there that treated me like family. My room was clean and made up nicely when I arrived. There were other amenities that I didn't get a chance to use. The neighborhood was nice. All types of stores and restaurants were close by. The hotel also had a bistro and bar. Oh they also served Starbucks. Overall one of the best nights in a hotel that I can remember

Everything was excellent!! I messed up our dates for a week later and didn’t know until we got there. Unfortunately this hotel was booked but Tami and another woman did everything they could to help us find a place to stay. We ended up booking for the next night and the room was amazing. Tami was so accommodating and such a nice woman from start to finish!! I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent service. Staff were attentive and understanding. The rooms were well kept. The bistro was mediocre and a bit pricey but the staff were friendly. Hotel was close enough to everything that we wanted to do that travel time wasn't a problem.

We travel to VA several times a year to visit family. This is the first time we have stayed at the Courtyard, and we were not disappointed! The hotel staff are all super nice and accommodating. There's a little cafè where you can order food, alcoholic beverages and even Starbucks! The room we stayed in was #307. It was very clean and the king sized bed was so comfy we didn't want to get out of it! The room was missing the remote to the TV but once we mentioned it to the staff they immediately sent one up and asked if there was anything else we needed, did I mention how nice everyone is?? We also visited the pool area. There were plenty of towels available even at 9pm, when we went. The location of this hotel is perfect. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and there's even a shopping center across the street if you need to run to the grocery store. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again!

Very nice hotel so I'm giving 5 stars. There's a few things they should change however...continental breakfast is cold items like banana, yogurt & twin pack muffins & only beverage offered is Starbucks coffee, no juice so I had to settle for water outta our room faucet with my muffins. They should have written info in the rooms or directory on locations of ice & vending machines, TV & internet info etc. There's only 1 small trash can in the room so hopefully you don't have too much to throw away. The water pressure in the sink was super low in rm 106. On a positive note...the staff are extremely friendly & helpful. The hotel is clean, as was our room. The pillows & bed were oh so comfy & my fiance & I slept very well. We had access to a patio with a lil metal table & chair that was comfortable to sit in. There's a Bistro in the hotel if you like that sort of thing but u have to give them your credit/debit card when checking in where they put a hold up to $40 on ur card in case u want food it'll be covered & you don't get that $ back for 3-4 days which is inconvenient if ur strapped for $ so that should be optional as we knew we wouldn't be at the hotel long enough to enjoy such a thing since we're from out of state & only here for work not pleasure unfortunately. Parking is convenient & you're within walking distance to several good restaurants like Ruby Tuesday's & 3 Amigos etc. I would stay again for sure. Hope this review helps.
