Fox Meadow Vineyards & Winery

A lovely place with Blue Ridge views and some great wines. We opted for an inside table due to the July heat and enjoyed a couple of flights. We left with their Pinot Grigio for a future meal. Very nice facility with agreeable staff and very nice wines.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here last week! The staff (Amanda & Stef) had a ton of wine knowledge and helped us pick bottles that were great matches for our tastes. We sat outside on their patio and enjoyed the lovely views of the vineyard. I would highly recommend this winery to anyone looking for a relaxing environment with interesting varietals!

Stunning views, delicious wine, good service, and a great snack selection. I could drink wine in the sun on their deck all day. I especially like their snack selection and casual vibe. The charcuterie is slice and serve yourself which is a nice change from some of the more formal cheese boards that are trying too hard to be fancy. This is my first dabble with Virginia wine country and if it’s this good then I am inspired to see more of it.

Stunning location, with tasty wine and incredibly friendly staff. We did two flights to try a variety of wines before selecting which we wanted to have glasses of. We prefer dry wines, so the reds were the winners for us, although the chardonnay and rose we tried were not bad. They do serve food here, with several options depending on how much you are looking to eat. The food was very reasonably priced and prepared fresh. The staff was very friendly, readily communicating updates on our order and refilling water and wine as needed. This winery is certainly worth a stop if you're in the area!

Stunning Blue Ridge Mountain and Shenandoah valley views while sipping wine by the glass, tasting or bottle. Selection of red and white varieties. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Wine was delicious and fit the styles appropriately. Dog friendly establish. Food available or bring your own for enjoying in the picnic area.

We went for the wine tasting. I loved it! The vibes is nice and the place looks great. Make sure you reserve in advance for the deck seating. Wine tasting was just 15 per person and it was nice! I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely love Fox Meadow! The views are spectacular and the wine is so good it’s hard to pick a bottle you don’t want to purchase. Recently attended a vertical tasting of their Le Renard Rouge and it was so informative (and tasty). The winemaker led the event, we learned so much and got to taste some great wines.

Outstanding ambience, staff, and wine! I stopped in with a group of friends for an impromptu tasting as we were passing through the area, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The view from the property is amazing (as is the wine), and our visit was certainly a highlight of the trip!

Gorgeous location for a winery. Breathtaking views. Wines were very good and reasonably priced. Modest offering for food but fine and typical for a winery.

Staff were all very pleasant.

We had two whites - Pinot Grigio and Blue Mountain Mist - and two reds - Merlot and Meritage. All wines were fine; reds a bit better than the whites.

The wine tasting itself was a bit disappointing in that it was pricey with very small pours. You're better getting glasses and sharing.

Only about half of the wines are avaliable for tasting or by the glass; this was also a little disappointing.

Overall, the quality of the wines plus the spectacular scenery push this to 5 stars.

Beautiful snowy day with gorgeous views! Amanda and her team really made it an excellent experience……yummy chili and the Reynard Rouge was very good. Great ambiance for a relaxing time.

I visited Black Friday and had the most lovely service from Stephanie- she recommended the Cab Franc and it was perfect for a chilly day by the fire!

I think this is the nicest winery I have been to in Northern VA. Spacious, quiet, clean, affordable, friendly staff (thanks Rita) and gosh what a beautiful view. I don’t know much about wine but I felt like I was in paradise overlooking the deck. Pretty affordable tab as well so I was happy about that! I would love to be back, it was near our Airbnb too which was so convenient. Wish I could have tried their snacks and bites but didn’t have a chance this time. Will be back next time I’m in the area!

I went to Fox Meadow this weekend with a large group and everyone was incredibly accommodating! We were given two tables by the window and loved being able to watch the sun go down over the mountains. Many of us did a wine and fudge pairing which was incredible, and a few also got the at-the-table s'mores, which we would highly recommend!

Beautiful location on blue mountain. Huge view of beautiful blue ridge mountains. Awesome staff. Maintains good social distance protocols, by appointment only. Top notch place. I'm not even a wine guy but wife and I love this place for date-day. Not date- night bc you'd miss the views. Better than average food options for a winery. My wife says the wine is pretty good too! Love this place!!

Beautiful view of the mountains and good, versatile wines. We both had flights and while we had our favorites (Pinot and Merlot), all four were good. Somewhat small pours for the price, but they were all delicious. We also tried the stainless Chardonnay (great) and the barrel Chardonnay bottle (even better).

We enjoyed a picnic outside in well spaced tables with umbrellas. Our woofer was welcomed and the other dogs there were all well behaved.

We’ll return for sure, for both the views and the wine

Love this place. Amazing views. Great, dog friendly patio. New ownership has also added lots of little touches and items to their menu (like charcuterie boards) that are very much appreciated. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Simple yet elegant. The views from the deck makes it worth it. Very decent wines too.

Their wine tasting was fixed with two whites and two reds, but the wine server let me taste both reds so I could just get a glass of my favorite. They serve the flights in plastic cups, but give you a wine glass so you can pour each tasting into the glass. They also included a package of bread sticks with the tasting which was really nice. Worth a visit just for the view, and the wines are good too.

Wines are great, food is very good and substantial. Staff is knowledgeable and low key.(no pushy sales talk). Going back often! Have been back mant times. This winery is fantastic and truly worth the trip.
