Dr. Dye is and has been an excellent Vet for our animals since 2020. He was very caring for our dog Fonzie one time in-particular during a time when he was on vacation and took the time to speak with me about his care on his cell phone even while on vacation. His staff is outstanding and very helpful and pleasant to work with as well. He and his staff have been amazing to work with for the past 4 years and we will continue to bring our pets to him for many years to come.

Dr Dye and the team at autumn hills are fantastic. Dr Dye takes the time to give each dog a thorough and thoughtful exam. He discusses options and considers the benefit versus consequences of procedures. Absolutely the best.

I was able to get in same day for my pup that was having stomach issues. The staff came out to my vehicle where I had my dog just in case he had something contagious. Pretty smart. We were in and out in less than half an hour and my boy is feeling a lot better now.

Took our cat here for shots and check up. Staff was professional and friendly. Brought him back for teeth cleaning. He was well taken care of and staff followed up to check on his anesthesia recovery. We have found our vet here in Rapid City. A good choice.

Unfortunately my 10 year old weiner dog suffered a spinal cord injury and was in alot of pain, couldn't walk, couldn't go potty. Took her to an emergency vet and they said give it time with the new meds to see if she will start walking again. 24 hours later she was worse, meds weren't helping. I needed to get her a one way ticket to Heaven. Called around 10 different vets to check pricing for having her put down and cremation that day. Was NOT a fan of her regular vet and kept trying to get her switched so we weren't going there. Another vet recommended Autumn Hills which I've never heard of. I called and they had the best prices and could get her in that day. Treated us with respect and gave us all the time needed. I didn't like that she had to be muzzled while put down but the vet said it's for our safety being close to her face in final moments. It was very sad but it went well. They acknowledged our loss, made prints of her paws and nose and sent them in the mail with a card. Her ashes were ready in about 2 weeks. I was sad about the muzzle but other than that pricing was best in town and they were very kind to us and her even though she was a mean girl all the way to the end LOL. Gave us plenty of time and were sympathetic which I really appreciate.

Took my oldest dog here after being disappointed with previous vets. He went over everything that my poor old rez dog was afflicted by and gave me solutions and ideas of how to treat. He let me know right away my dog had lupus something that had gone undiagnosed with my previous vets. The meds we got from him were very well priced and overall we couldn't be happier. It's a little out of the way for us but we will be making the drive for all of our animals now.

We love Dr. Dye! He is so good with our golden retriever. Helping him not be so nervous.

Both doctors, and the front desk staff are helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I won't take my pets anywhere else in town, they really are the best. :)

Great staff, fantastic doctors, and very honest, and they provide different options for services. I highly recommend autumn hills vet.

Dr. Dye and now Dr. willian have always taken wonderful care of our beloved dogs. They treat your pets just like they are your family. (Ours are ☺) They have caught issues missed at other vets and are able to handle their sensitive health issues with ease. We appreciate they explain pricing throughout the entire process so in the tough cases you aren’t blindsided as well.

Traveling from out of state and Autumn Hills helped with a split toenail walk in. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Very grateful for them getting our boy back on his feet for the rest of our trip!

best clinic in town. took my dog to four different vets that kept saying she had kennel cough took her here found out she had a lung tumor. they also let u pay later u just have to leave ur card number and the day for them to charge ur card. checkups are always quick takes ab ten minutes. always so kind and caring as well

Great service, wonderful staff. Took great care of my Lexi who needed surgery for torn ACL. Prices are great, doc is knowledgeable, staff very caring.

James Dye will tell you the hard truths you need to know that other professionals may avoid talking about. I consider him a realist, and he's honest but not pushy. For that I respect the man, and I recommend Autumn Hills.

Prepare yourself for a small waiting area BUT I would rather be able to afford my animals treatments than have more leg room waiting to be seen. I would assume that lower overhead translates to customer cost savings. They were the most affordable in town!

The staff were super friendly and they were able to see our pupper the within hours of my calling them. We were afraid something serious was wrong with our old girl but turns out...she's just old. Ha! Within an hour, they sent us off with some meds and peace of mind. This place is great!

Can I not pick about little things about the small waiting room sure. But what matters is the care for my pets and the cost of the services. In my entire life I’ve never found a place that is this great in both those areas. I’ll never go anywhere else again I promise you that.

A BIG thank you to Dr. James and the staff. We are from Texas and our little pup strained his back and was in a lot of pain. The office had no appointments available, but were willing to fit us in. When we walked in with our Chip, we could tell they were having a super busy day, but the receptionist was patient and kind. And the doc also came out to introduce himself and ask questions about Chip. We left thinking it would be hours before we heard anything, but less than an hour later, the doc called and explained everything in detail - again, taking time on a very busy day to relieve our fears about our pup. I highly recommend this clinic!!

Dr Dye is a wonderful vet. He is caring, knowledgeable, and down to earth. He has been treating our pets for over 12 years. He will cater to what you want and don't want for your pet. We couldn't be happier. Thanks Dr Dye and staff!!
