Our CPA passed away and I cannot believe how difficult it was finding someone to take over the mess of paperwork we have! It took months of waiting for call backs, etc., but when I contacted WHB, I got immediate assistance. We went to their "open house" last night and met up with a few people we knew who have been happily using their services, including one who has been with them for about 30 years. That says a lot. The lady that handled our paperwork is Marcia and she is more than what we had expected for a CPA. In addition to being very educated and experienced, she was very personable and easy to talk to. In fact, we talked to a several staff members there who were also pleasant.

My wife and I dealt with Marcia Pelton, while she was great handling our taxes for the year 2022, she WAS TERRIBLE in the dealing with an audit I had with the IRS. Long story short, she never responded to the audit and so now this year the IRS went in and removed $5,000 from our tax return for the year 2023. She actually told me over the phone that she was going to respond to the audit and she never actually did. I am now handling the matter completely on my own cause I have lost ALL trust in CPAs.
She has since ghosted us, and will not return ANY phone calls I have made to her. I'd recommend dealing with just about any other CPA in the United States over her.

She also took MUCH too long to file my sister and brother in-laws return and now they owe late fees 😑
