Boulder Hill Trailhead

Beautiful views! Not an easy hike to the top. Rocky and steep.

Fun hike. 4 miles with a viewpoint payoff.

Easy walk between the tall trees. Lots of deers around which were fun to watch. Downside is all the cow pies everywhere.

Took the B loop counterclockwise. Hard to find the start, it's across the parking lot from trail sign. Trail was easier for me going CCW. Mostly flat with a couple of Rick scrambling sections where walking stick would have been handy.

We had a great hike. The trail is well marked and maintained.

First ! Don’t be fooled by the trail by the big map sign as that just takes you back onto the western half of the Flume Trail. The real trail is south of the parking and a little to the left in the bushes. Look for a small wooden sign on tree stump that says “To Boulder Hill.”
This trail is a long one and quite steep in areas. Some of the grass and bushes are thick and tall so watch for bugs.
It took me about 2 hours in and out total.
Bring water , gps, and a paper map as I had no cell service out there

I loved the 2 hour loop around, the scenery was lovely, and all the different colors in fall time. I love that there are multiple trails to take. Come prepared!! Lots of water, good walking shoes, snaks!
