Super 8 by Wyndham St. Augustine Beach

Black mold in corners of shower in our outdated bathroom. Bedroom section ample. Bed comfortable but AC unit made horrendous noise randomly. Only about 5 other cars in parking lot. Is that the best you have to offer at a beach location?

We had a rough start to our vacation things not going as planned. We got in hours late but when we arrived here the owner of the hotel what's prompt got us a room and our stay was the best. He treated us like family. If you ever are in St Augustine skip those pricey hotels and stay here. The rooms were clean the beds were so comfortable. Not a fancy hotel but who's going to stay in your hotel room when you got the ocean a block away. If I go back this is where I will always stay

Had the largest room I had ever seen. Directly over the lobby. Everything was as expected except for a nail in a chair which happened to tear my jeans. Floors looked new and shower had plenty of hot water. However, we think the room needed a microwave. Easy access in and out to A1A. Having a restaurant next door was a bonus (Salt Life). We plan on staying here next year if we can.

Great place, everything you need close by. Prices were great and staff! Or house cleaner Jamie went out her way to keep us comfortable and the front desk helped with all are needs. Hotel is old, but obvious there are making plenty of reservations. Thank you super 8!! You'll be seeing is again.

I'm giving this place 5 stars and here is why. First I knew what I was getting being that it's rated as a 2 star hotel, but this place ended up exceeding my expectations in every way. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when I needed them for something. I happened to be chit chatting with with the owner a few days into my stay, and had to give her props on how well she ran the place, I mean she's on top of everything. My room was always clean and tidy when I returned from the day. Has a number of good restaurants nearby, especially the salt life bar and Grille which became a 2nd home during my stay lol. Variety of breakfast options in the morning, Beach and Ocean across the street, plenty of parking, and most important to me, it's quiet at night, no rowdy parties nor drunks stumbling around. You can't beat it. Compared to the price of other places, St. Augustine Super 8 was really inexpensive for the value you got with it. In conclusion my experience was excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Enjoy!

A Welcoming Home Away From Home. Gordon the Manager is Fabulous. Militia our housekeeper was out of this world. I definitely have told everyone I've seen or talked to about our stay and experience . You wake up with a Smile. You go to sleep feeling Safe and Secure.

Used Priceline and got two rooms for a little less than list price. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Breakfast was OK but not great (waffles were prepackaged not from a waffle iron, only two kinds of cereal, one kind of yogurt, no fresh fruit). Did not use pool but it looked clean. Wifi only in the lobby.

This is my go to hotel when I visit Saint Augustine Beach. It's perfectly located right across the street from the pier and the beautiful beach. Nothing fancy, but a safe location and comfortable beds. Close to some good restaurants and bars.

The St.Augustine Pier and beach are right across the street, 5 minute walk. Can not be more convenient for the beach goer. Reasonable rates, great service. Rooms are spacious and clean. Salt Life Restaurant right next door. Minutes away from historic downtown. Always enjoy our stay here.

It was Super. They have a good breakfast and they have their own signature cinnamon roll they are amazing. Get points for staying there. Clean rooms no bugs and good wifi. Super 8 rocks and the owner was super nice

Girlfriend and I have stayed here three separate times, in different rooms, over the past two years and every experience has been awesome, hands down. Originally came here on a whim for a two day get away, and ended up coming back to stay for a week at a time. Rooms Are Kept Clean. Hotel's Location pretty much gives you the best of both worlds. Pull out left when you leave and you are a few miles from downtown which is beautiful but gets busy. Turn right and you have all of St. Augustine Beach to experience. The beach is right across the street, which has a pier that delves a couple hundred feet into the ocean. Traveled all over St. Augustine and the beach here is one of the cleanest and largest... Salt Life Bar & Grill across parking lot. The family that runs this place is well aware of how great the location is and from what I've witnessed keeps it up to par. Warm people and professional, and the other guests staying here were low key and friendly. Can't go wrong here and its a STEAL for the price.

Great room, right across the street from the beach, restaurant next door, owners are great. They make sure you are taken care of and they make sure your happy all the time.. def will come back for them

My husband and I have stayed here a few times over the years. We're never disappointed. Rooms are clean, the bathrooms have been renovated since we've last been here and they look great. Yes, you have to use the Wi-Fi in the lobby currently because they are repairing the roof on one of the buildings. But if you are seriously going to complain about not being able to use Wi-Fi in your room then you got some issues. How about you step out of your room and enjoy the beautiful beach that is simply steps away from the hotel. Or take a stroll through the historical district that is just a 5 minute drive away. Get out and enjoy St. Augustine! As for the breakfast, we like it. There's coffee, tea bags, orange juice, apple juice, cereals, bread for toast, jam, butter, waffles (no they're not fresh from the iron but they're good) cinnamon rolls, oatmeal and yogurt. So you have a lot to choose from. It's a good selection for the price you pay.

Stayed here with my daughter and two grandkids. This place ia very clean and well kept. Great service. Across from the beach . Great atmosphere. Will definitely return. Breakfast is small but filling.

Very clean and comfortable beds which is what i look for in these type of places. We checked in pretty late, around midnight and checked out at noon. The check in took about 5 min and check out was 2 seconds. It's a bit far from the city but it takes 5 to 10 min driving.

Very friendly, clean rooms comfy beds and beach is right across the street. Have stayed at this hotel several times and will continue to stay when we visit again!

The staff was friendly and they said they had breakfast on hotels.com did not have breakfast no coffee the beds were comfortable property was clean and the rooms were clean will stay again when i am up in the area again

Greatly priced for being so close to the beach. Close to restaurants, pier, shopping, activities. Rooms were large, clean. The staff were polite and accommodating. Definitely will return.

Great room. Was nice and clean. Even though hotel was full had no problems getting breakfast after 9am. Hotel desk sorted minor problem immediately.

Clean, roomy, yet older motel. Very personable hostess at check-in. Reasonably priced. Will definitely stay in on next visit to area. Will recommend to friends travelling in area.
