Americas Best Value Inn Ocean Inn

We were looking for a room after an unexpected change in plans. We passed this hotel and turned around to come back.
It may not be as fancy as the more expensive hotels on the beach, the room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff very friendly and breakfast on top of it all!

I just fell in love with this hotel. Mike is awesome, he welcomed us and makes us feel like home. Rooms are extra mega clean. The location is just perfect for a trip from St. Augustine to Daytona and more. Absolutely I'll be back.

Great place if you are fishing. People are friendly. Rooms are clean. Located close to Winn Dixie and Oasis Resturant.

We booked 10 nights this year as we love this hotel with good location, and friendly staff. The manager goes above and beyond as well as the grounds manager Mike. It feels like coming home after a day at the beach. Walgreens is short walk in one direction on our way to the beach with stores within walking distance for all beach needs.

Old-fashioned family owned motel. Very clean very convenient 10 minute walk to the beach. It is not a hotel. Expect fewer amenities, but overall a wonderful place. Excellent prices. Good location. Safe for solo travelers.
Will return. This motel enables me to have a beach vacation from a cold climate. Ty!
Also, the owner very kind & accommodating when I asked for a later check-out. So excellent.

Always clean with a very helpful friendly staff. Short walk to some nice places. And a short drive to other attractions and restaurants.

We found this place as we were in town for a concert down the road at the ampitheter. I was pleasantly surprised! We spent less than $80 for the night. Room was clean, has small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.

I have no complaints for what this hotel is. It doesn’t smell like how other run down hotels similar to this do. We were running late to check in and the manager gave us a call to see if we were okay. We eventually checked in around 11pm and the manager graciously checked us in and showed us our room. We stayed 3 nights and housekeeping made sure we had enough towels and bed were made. It’s a good place to stay and very close to the beach.

I have been coming here for a while now and it’s great value at a good price! I highly recommend, the staff are amazing!

Cleanest hotel we have stayed at in the past 3 years. Staff was friendly and helpful. They seemed glad to see us.

This hotel was very comfortable and clean
We stayed for 3 nights in a King bed room. The bed was so comfortable and bedding was very nice. Bathroom was very clean, with food water pressure and plenty of hot water. The parking was not over crowded and the other guests were friendly. We did not go to the pool, bit we heard plenty of others enjoying it so I would assume it was very nice as well. The front desk clerk was so nice and very polite. We would definitely stay here again, the price was affordable
They also has vacancy last minute on memorial day weekend.

The staff was wonderful and the rooms were clean. It’s just minutes from the beach, and an excellent value.

A great place to stay when you want to kick back. Superfriendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to Beach. About 15min drive to downtown Saint Augustine . Shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay. Uber is available if you don't want to drive to Saint Augustine. affordable prices

Good hotel to stay, simple, but clean. The front desk employees (Yoseph and Dominic) were very friendly and helped me with all questions that I had. Walk distance to the beach. The housekeeping staffs were kind asking if we needed anything every day.
If one day I decide to go back to St Augustine, I definity would stay there again.

Check in was fast and employee was friendly. Room was very clean. Vinyl floor/no carpet which was great for a severe allergy sufferer. A/C was very cold. Bathroom/sink area was very clean as well. Room came with free wifi, a mini fridge and a microwave. Lots of restraunts nearby and not far from the beach!! Would stay again!!

My husband and I stayed here years ago (maybe 6?) with our kids and remembered it as economical, but basic. We visit this area every year and I don't know why we overlooked this establishment since then. This year we're traveling without the kids and just wanted to be near the beach. We came back to America's Best and we're so glad we did.

The front desk was able to arrange a first floor room for us even though we hadn't specifically requested one in our reservation. The clerk simply radioed the cleaning staff, found a room for us, and switched us over. He did this with a smile. Housekeeping was just downright sweet. They made us feel so welcome and our room was nearly perfect.

As for access to the beach? You won't find better. One block away and you can usually park right on the beach. Affordable, clean, and accommodating. We spent hundreds more last year at another hotel and won't do it again. We'll be right back at America's Best next year.

I've stayed her many,many times.This is by far the most comfortable stay in St Augustine.Staffs awsome,Housekeeping is on top of everything,rooms are clean and very comfortable.Its very safe and quiet.They are really personable and friendly.Beach is a 10 min walk.If beach isnt your thing their pool is fantastic.Walgreens south of it and Winn Dixie plaza just north.The world famous Oasis restaurant just across street.Highly recommend if your coming to St Augustine!

I'm still in shock that these are budget accommodations. The room was squeaky clean. There's a dehumidifier in the room, which EVERY beachside motel should have. The continental breakfast is plentiful. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Easy access to the beach and the historic district, as well as lots of restaurants and shopping close-by.

I wanted to get a room here,because we've stayed here several times in years past and always loved it,however they did not have enough rooms this time for our family and our cousin's family,so we had to skip it. But I can tell you that it is in walking distance of the beach ( I'd drive though, since you'd have to cross a busy road). It is next to a WinnDixie, a package store,carparts store and a Greek Restaurant, so you can get the things you need. They have a pool in the back,that I love! The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a grill on the property.They do have a small continental breakfast.I have always found the people to be kind and helpful and the rooms are serviced daily by the maids. We never used it,but they did have a free shuttle to downtown St.Augustine tourist sites. They also have plenty of tourist info brochures and discounts available in the office. Update! My family just stayed there on October 2-7,2021! It was absolutely wonderful! The room was clean&,the beds were comfortable! The tv was great and the bathroom was clean! The pool was awesome and clean ! The staff was helpful and.friendly ! The breakfast is what they call " Grab and go" ( This type of breakfast is because of CoVid)and consists of coffee,instant oatmeal ( many flavors available) and 3 types of snack cakes( doughnut sticks,honey buns and pop tarts) They also had oranges everyday.
The room had a fridge, microwave,iron,hair dryer flat screen tv,and was super comfortable! There is an ice maker near the office where you can get ice with your key card. I highly recommend this motel!
