La Strada Italian Restaurant

This is the best meal I have had since I moved to Florida in 2021. I highly recommend La Strada! Everything was made with love and care from the fresh garlic bread to the freshly made pesto sauce to the homemade spumoni ice cream. They also brought the check along with dessert. The timing was impeccable! Thank you!! The wait staff was professional , knowledgeable, and had an exceptional work ethic. The next time we're in St. Augustine, we will definitely return! You get what you pay for! Thank you for a magnificent dining experience!!

First time here, we've already scheduled for another. This is a cute place, when we showed up at 6 the place was 3/4 full and hopping. There are bottles of wine all over the place, just grab and they will cork it for you. The food was delicious and portions are generous. We had the veal special, veal Parmesan and clam linguine, all perfect. Our service was fine, there was only two persons working the floor and one was new, so things were a little slow, but that's wasn't an issue, just relax and enjoy your wine.

Real authentic Italian food, unlike anywhere else around! Lots of flavor! Tons of choices, great wines, the desserts were to die for. The best lobster bisque we have ever tasted. One of the best experiences we’ve ever had from beginning to end. Very cozy and perfect for a date night. Can’t wait to go back and try more things. I think we found our new favorite spot for dinner!

Cozy, small intimate lil gem, with small outdoor patio seating as well. Owners present and everything gleamingly clean. Fantastic service, nightly specials, wide variety of wines, seafood options with homemade pasta selections. Attention to detail show the love the owners put into their hidden gem on A1A. Small, family run. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Don't Forget the Reservation!!! Your gonna need it!!! You will not be disappointed with this little restaurant. The waitresses were sweet, helpful, and funny. They really know how to treat you like your part of the family. The food was top notch! The Alfredo was so smooth and the portions were perfect. I can not wait to come back!

Finally made it to this awesome little hidden gem. I dined alone, but I was highly accommodated as a single diner.
La Strada has all the ambiance of a classic trattoria and a menu that is home made and mixes classics with fresh new ideas. The service matched, if not exceeded, the food and atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond when I had a personal issue (totally separate from my dining experience). I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism. I will make this a regular eatery for myself and make sure to bring friends on my next visit.

One of the best meals we've had in a very long time. Everything was fresh, made in-house and delicious! The selection of food was good. We had the sweet potato soup which was divine as was the eggplant with burrata appetizer, and the parmesan-crusted sea bass. A lovely night, with wonderful food.

Do you want to taste of Italy while still being in America? This restaurant is a hidden gem Italian food there is exceptional. I’ve been to Michelin restaurants and this place made me feel like I was sitting in Rome, eating genuine Italian pasta. Their staff is amazing Heidi was over the top with exceptional service, I could taste of loving the food and the dedication that they have to making your experience. Great here is over the top if you want to eat some really good Italian food this is the place you should come my grandmother was from Italy, and I never found any dishes close to how good she was at cooking but when I came here, it made me feel like I was sitting across the table from her Thanks mark

This is the best tasting meal I had since I moved to Florida a while ago. I had the lobster bisque. I recommend this place and fish to anyone interested in La Strada! Everything was made in a fair amount of time and the staff was super nice and helpful.

My check came perfectly on time with the desert, I could not have asked for a better service!

The manicotti is the best I have eaten. It was ridiculous! The atmosphere is what you would hope an Italian place would be. The service was fabulous and it was a nice easy pace as our dinner choices were brought out. We drove an hour to get here and we will again.

Such an authentic Italian place with the red and white tablecloths and decor. Don't be in a hurry if you eat here but worth the wait! Veal is awesome! Decent prices! Lots of food! And save room for chocolate mousse! Best I ever had!!!

More Sicilian than Sicily. I've eaten at hundreds of Italian restaurants. Fellow paisano and I am well versed at true Italian cooking. Hard to beat my grandma but this place was absolutely phenomal. We got garlic bread, calamari, spaghetti and lobster ravioli. Every single dish was perfect. And as a first, they put peppers and tomatoes in the calamari. Never had that but I was surprised at how well it worked. And I'm wondering why others aren't doing that. Allison and Jason took care of the full restaurant and I believe Mark was the cook. I've heard others say be patient as they're understaffed. But the two of them handled everyone in the restaurant in a timely manner. If you have to wait, it's only because the food is so good and they almost can't handle the customers. Almost, but they did. Good problem to have. We will be back. Thank you Allison for a wonderful experience.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here while we were on vacation in Florida. The restaurant was not easily seen from the road as a matter of fact when we pulled into the parking lot, we weren’t sure that it was even open, but it was and it wasn’t crowded the night we were there. The atmosphere was very nice. The waitress was great, and the food was delicious.

I'm not sure how we missed eating at La Strada Italian Restaurant all of these years but we had an awesome dinner there today!

The inside of this restaurant is on the smaller size but it's cozy. Their menu has a large selection of dishes and the prices are extremely reasonable. They had several awesome chefs specials, (including a couple of fresh seafood dishes), but we ordered Sausage and Peppers over Linguine and Lasagna. Each meal comes with bruschetta as well as a salad, (I upgraded to a Greek Salad).

I knew the food was going to be fantastic as soon as the bruschetta came out. The homemade bread was hot and crispy and that bruschetta topping was over the top. The server said they serve their bruschetta topping on the side because some people don't like tomatoes and can dip their bread in the garlic oil.

The salads came out next and they were also delicious, (all of their dressings are made in-house). I am glad I upgraded my salad as the regular salad was simple and consisted of lettuce, shredded carrots and cucumber. We was shocked when our entrees came out....they were huge! We could only eat half of our dishes and have plenty of leftovers for lunch or dinner. The sausage and peppers were amazing...this dish was packed full of sausage and the sauce was fresh and bright. My partner said the lasagna was the best they've ever had. I apologize for the pictures of the entrees...they were taken after we covered them with fresh parmesan.

I never hear much about this place, (even though they've been in business for 21 years), but I'm really happy to have stopped in! I think La Strada bumped Viola's from my top favorite rustic Italian in St.Augustine...I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were visiting his grandparents who are Italian they live in Saint Augustine. We decided to have a night out and we check out La Strada and OMG the best Italian food I have ever eaten in my life. Everything was absolutely amazing. The service was wonderful Heidi and Brice were the best and super kind to my grandparents. I will definitely be going back to La Strada when I come to visit again.

The welcome smile of the server was a great start, we just seat and wait until she back with an awesome recommendation of the day special, in the wait time we recibe the soup of jour with garlic bread & delicious tomatoes sauce. The other server had a great and awesome attitude. The entree platter was osobuco of beef so extraordinary that I feel now is and after and before in my life. We just finished with homemade chocolate mousse 🔥 totally worth it.

We have stopped here twice while traveling through St. Augustine. I so wish we could frequent this gem of an Italian restaurant more frequently. FANTASTIC is all we can say. Thank you Christina for another fabulous experience.

This week my family and I had the pleasure of eating at La strada Italian restaurant. The wait staff was knowledgeable about the food and specials, our food was intricately delicious. The restaurant was quaint, clean and above else tased amazing!!! So glad we found this place in our vacation.

Had an excellent visit here, it is the perfect mix of classic and cozy. Like having a wonderful homemade yet meticulously prepared meal. Devil in the details such as perfectly tender calamari, al dente pasta and everything tastes freshly made with with unique flair.
