I've been coming here for a few years. The only change, manager of the service dept. The service agents are nice. The service techs are knowledgeable. They do become busy, so come prepared to wait (even with an appt). Having a job done right takes time and patience. The coffee is always fresh and the snacks are plentiful.

Went to Coggin Honda. They said transmission assembly needs to be replaced. Paid $800 for the part & $1100 for the labor. Said it will take couple of days to get the part. Meanwhile the vehicle was functioning perfectly took it for multiple 600 mile trips without any issues. Asked Honda to rescind the order for parts, now they are saying it can't be done. Why should I pay for a part when the vehicle is operating smoothly and efficiently. Honda being very ineffecient they can easily use this part somewhere else but they won't. Very disappointed by Honda Coggin.

My family has purchased 3 vehicles from Coggin Honda St Augustine since 2019 and have always serviced them at this location and have always been very pleased, until today. We will be shopping elsewhere when my lease ends and will never bring our service back to them. One battery in my car cost me $230 and would have cost more if I didn’t have a coupon that I was told they’d be glad to accept (since it was a coupon from Coggin Honda on Atlantic in Jax). After dealing with Kerry in service and his very condescending attitude and the way he felt the need to battle me in our conversation I will never refer or bring our business back. Very disappointed in the way this service turned out. If there was a 0 star option, I would have selected it. I even told Kerry he can let his manager know due to this experience we will not be back and his response was “I’m not going to tell him that, you can call yourself”. Stay far away if you want good customer service, bc clearly all they care about is getting top dollar for every single service they offer

I have purchased two cars from this dealership and sent 2 friends there who also bought cars. Al was a good sales person, but I will never buy there again because their service department is a ripoff. $130+ an hour labor fee. That is way over normal and not only that, they charged it for each service that was being done even though they were done at the same time….basically making it $260/hr. This is a ripoff. If this is how Honda works I am never buying a Honda again. It cost me less to have a German car worked on with parts imported from germany…and I thought that was overpriced.

I was visiting ST Augustine for the day. I live 45 minutes away. The battery (under warranty) was about to go dead and needed replacing. It almost left me stranded. Auto zone said it needed reaplacing. Since both the battery and the car are under warranty, I took it to Coggin Honda. They refused to replace it without an appointment. In other words, it’s ok to possibly leave a Honda customer stranded than change a battery real quick. This is not my first problem with them. I went in to have the oil changed a few months prior, and they wanted to fix things on the car that didn’t need replacing just to increase the bill.

Disappointed and lied to when I bought my car. Even the salesman admitted he had lied. But the service department is fantastic never had a problem over all the years I’ve had a Honda.
