Wonderful meat selections, produce too, stuffed ham awesome, soups are wonderful too. Pastry selections good. All-n all I highly recommend this grocery store; been serving Calvert County successfully for many a year!

Always has been great family owned place to stop to get a awesome breakfast, lunch sandwiches or subs, dinner they have rotisserie chicken or chicken parts and sides as well! Their meats are amazing. Mr. Gordon Bowen is a well respected man in our community and we all love to see him when we walk through the door.😊👍

Good meat. Their delmonico steaks are fantastic. Butcher will cut special for you. Deli department has really great sandwiches and salads. Employees are friendly and helpful.

I have gone here ever since I can remember! This store has good selection of drinks, meats, and common grocery items! There is also now alcohol here! The homemade treats in the deli are great! I grew up on the dirt cake for my special treat!

This is a step back in time!! The most friendly people I have ever visited!! The best ice cream, beautiful steaks, a candy aisle to die for!!! It's an experience! Stop in! I highly recommend it and all ages love it!!! Oh, get some Amish cake!!!

When you need that 1 thing...this is the place to go! The one place you can find that roast chicken for dinner and usually not sold out. Boars head lunch meats, their deli has friendly staff. Can't leave without grabbing a Hershey's ice cream cone before leaving. Love this place!

This is a local place that is amazing and a hidden gem. They have a little bit of everything. The sandwiches and meat are fresh and really good. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. Keep It Local and shop local.

UPDATE: Bowen's has been sold to a new owner and the name has changed to "BONES". Always a pleasure visiting Bowen's grocery. You never know who you might run in to and it's a happy place to visit!

Bowens is an honest to God country store. Local produce & meats/crabs, homemade desserts, very good deli. Locals order fresh turkey & ham for holidays. Small butcher shop area. Great people, too!

Nice shop,.good select up of food, snacks, etc. The subs and sandwiches look tremendous tho I didn't have time to orde one. Very friendly helpful staff.

Love the Deli there and Abby who works Deli/Meat Counter is always friendly and can always bring a smile to my face. Definitely try the sandwiches they are amazing!

First time visiting the subs were AMAZING. Will be coming back again and again.
