Safeway Pharmacy

My experience with pharmacies, for the most part, has been routine however, I have had some pretty negative experiences after having several major surgeries due the beginning of the opioid crisis and bias based on my demographic. All understandable, but unfortunate for me at the time. The pharmacist and her staff at Safeway are fast, helpful, and kind under normal circumstances but are always willing to go above and beyond when the situation calls for it. Meaning, they don’t just present you with a problem and leave you to resolve it, they care about helping you find solutions and help you deal with insurance companies that don’t like to pay for anything.

Everyone is so nice always saying hi to you. Starbucks is the best Starbucks around. Stephanie and Tanika are great. They know what I want as soon as I walk up to the counter and they have even got it ready for me when they see me coming. I’ve always had a pleasant experience at the pharmacy. The staff always Asked me if I had any questions about the medication or any questions for the pharmacist. Some of the staff there even know my name. Love this Safeway and I’m there just about every single morning to Get my coffee and pick up some items.

They are helping me when I need it get anything and I am speacil needs handicap person to and tell me anything on sale .to I use work there about 15years ago.thankyou again.

Never dealt with a more nasty pharmacist in my life. I gave it back to her. Vile person.

Pharmacy personnel is seriously lacking. The pharmacist has a God complex, refusing to fill legally written prescriptions. Even after being directed to by our doctor AND insirance company. They also never have anything in stock and wait til the very last minute to work on prior approvals. Causing serious life threatening issues. With no remorse. I think they are completely incapable and incompetent. I would rate 0 stars if possible.

The pharmacy personnel is extremely rude. I called two days in a row about medication I needed. I spoke to the same person. I decided to wait until that person was no longer on duty. When I called back someone else answered and was helpful. I called the next day and the rude woman answered again. When I complained about her rude behavior she hung up on me. I called back and spoke with whom I think was the pharmacist. She was helpful. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the other woman and asked her name. The pharmacist would not give it to me but said she would speak with her. If nothing is done about this I’m changing pharmacies. Customers should never be treated this way.

Waited 5 days to get this particular med in.
Then pharmacist didn't put the lid on properly for my son's liquid pain meds for his surgery today when I picked them up. Spilled everywhere on my counter. Now we have surgery in the morning and no pain meds and they won't give me more. Nothing but bad experiences at this place.

I hate calling the prince frederick brach and picking up my meds from there because when they have it refills they tell you they don't start filling prescription till after 11:00 am some people have to work and tell you I guess you will have to wait till you get done work! And if it's a narcotic they won't fill it till the day it's due on top of that there's an older lady that is the pharmacist that's always asks you why are you on all this medication! Um hello there's a thing called the hippa law she doesn't fallow she thinks she's a doctor and she's not she's rude and she's disrespectful!!!

Took forever one person at the register and was having problems. 3 other people behind the counter and not helping. Every checkout took over 10 minutes.

I’m shocked at how rude the employees are at this Pharmacy, they just walk away from you while your still asking questions. I will be finding a new pharmacy for sure.

The pharmacist is nice, but the woman who is a bit heavier that enters the prescriptions is horrible and mean.

Three days in a row I've been told either in person or with the automated system that my refill will be ready the next day.

Total terrible. Sad place bad manners and rude beyond measure
