Swann Farms

Had a fun time picking strawberries here even though it was raining heavily. We had fun. Strawberries were okay and about $25 a bucket. They had porta potties and a hand washing station. Definitely check out the park. Not too far from here afterwards. It's really amazing. #4evafunlufe bring a change of clothes or shoes if it's rainy day. Was very muddy.

The friendlessness at Swann Farms is such a welcomed treat. We enjoyed the the corn maze forward and backwards multiple times!! The free little pumpkin at the end was the cherry on top of our visit. If your looking for a well stocked patch look no more. The produce is very high quality in taste and appearance. We'll become habitual visitors!

Great farm for picking own berries. So much fun for all family. Beautiful and tasty.

Took my daughter here at the end of strawberry picking season and we still got to walk away with a basket full of strawberries. Will definitely be back.

My family loves Swann Farms. It's tradition that we pick strawberries on the day before my sons birthday. Always such a treat to mark his special day with. We will be back for raspberries, blackberries and blueberries.

Perfect for a fun, family outing on a sunny day. You buy a basket, then wander around rows and rows of strawberry plants hunting for red, ripe berries. The price was excellent and the strawberries were so good!

Beautiful place to go to. Everyone was socially distance because of the large land the fruits were in. Great place for a family trip, loved picking our own berries.

As I've only been in Calvert a year and work entirely too much I haven't had much time for local discoveries but, I am beating myself all sorts of up that I didn't find this place from day one..

Originally an idea pitched by my better half, I reluctantly agreed to pick strawberries (who does this these days?) But after 2 minutes I was in whole heartily and couldn't have had more fun.

Cons.

You'll never want to stop.. not just picking strawberries but leaving. The farm, the family, the everything about this place makes you appreciate that in which is good and wholesome.

We came to pick blackberries and blueberries in late July. Had great fun picking the berries and kids loved it. Also saw some beautiful monarch butterfly. This is one of the closest pick your own places to us in nova and we will be back.

Strawberries this year are a delicious treat. It does get tremendously crowded though.
The price is no better than buying at a store but you do have the certainty that none are bad.

Lots of fun for taking the kids out and getting fresh berries. Prices were awesome for the amount you get. There were a lot of rows of berries.

Took the Grand Kids berry picking and they (and I ) loved it! Bountiful berries, vegetables, and fresh air!
Local farmer who is generous to our local needs too!
Just go once, then you'll be going there before you go to grocery markets!

We've been going here for 7 years now and would give more stars if we could. The BEST berries around (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries)! Other items at the produce stand are just as good- corn, cantaloupe, watermelon, cucumbers, squash, etc. Love having this farm nearby- one of our favorite local spots!
