The Fresh Market

My go to place for bulk coffee. It's always priced just right! Recently I tried a Smoked Salmon Spread that was beyond delicious! Oh, and not to forget their flaky, buttery Croissants! SO good! And they're BOGO on Mondays!

My first visit to this location was a couple days before Thanksgiving. It was busy, but the additional customers were managed very well. I never felt rushed or crowded and most products were still in stock. The associates and management created a welcoming and helpful experience. I'd visit again in the future for specialty and high quality fresh items.

I have been to every Fresh Market in the Raleigh-Durham area EXCEPT this one, until yesterday. The layout and customer service is par none! I will be traveling to this location more frequently.

I like coming into this Fresh Market good location good selection with most things always in stock. They have a real nice manager there I think her name is Candice. She is there most of the time always helpful. When I can't find things which can be a good amount she will show me or tell me very clearly where it is so I can find it on the shelves. Always says hello to my son real kind to him. He can be a handful. Overall I think this is a very good store. Some of the others in the area seem to be going downhill with service so I try to make it to this store when I can

Great little min-whole foods here. I like that, despite having a smaller footprint, they still have deli food and prepared food available. Great selection and helpful staff.

Fresh produce, meats, and cheeses as well as beautiful flowers, unusual candies, and specialty pantry items. A great place to find specialty items.

I picked up 17 platters this afternoon from the Fresh Market in Durham. The platters looked like the pictures right on the website - some even better! The added notes were followed as written and I must have had 5 employees either greet me, show me where to pick up my order, and I even think the head chef helped me load it into the van. Thank you also to the 3 cashiers who scrambled to find serving spoons/forks and utensils. You all rock and I appreciate your amazing customer service and teamwork. This was delivered to 30 teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week and they thank you too.

The Fresh Market is by far my favorite grocery store. Clean, well-organized, friendly/helpful employees, good selection, many organic & vegetarian options, and excellent grocery pick-up service. Also, I gotta say- I love the classical music playing in the store! It adds to the upscale ambiance while shopping. The prices are pretty high, so I buy the bulk of my groceries from more affordable places (inflation, amirite?). However, I still come to FM regularly, because they succeed where other chain grocers fail & I always know that I will have a good experience there.

I love this store! Everything is always fresh and high quality. In the meat and seafood departments, you can buy just what you need rather than packages in typical supermarkets. The staff here is exceptional!

Great variety. Really nice staff. And the only place to get fresh harvested Hatch green chile from New Mexico. Carlos was amazing and so patient, and he realized how important this chile is to me. It seemed a little harder to get this year, but he kept trying and I was thrilled to bring home a box of my hot Hatch chile.

We tried the pre arranged meals for Easter for the first time. I ordered the ham, white cheddar cheese scalloped potatoes beans rolls and a strawberry cake. It was outstanding, fabolous, delicious, wonderful full of flavor the reheating instructions were perfect, I could go on for hours. I would highly recommend to anyone this is the way to go. Had plenty of leftovers....

Love the atmosphere, all of the staff are helpful, & they have the most variety of everything. My fav so far are their very own made cinnamon rolls...gotta have em! 😊

I have visited this store several times and was pleased with the food as well as the helpful and courteous staff. This past weekend I ordered several party platters and I was delighted with the food and the way it was presented. Everything was absolutely beautiful. My guests were impressed. I will definitely order from you again. Thank you.

Full disclosure, I used to help manage a Fresh Market location before switching careers, so I’m probably more critical than most customers.

The deli department is excellent here, the deli manager (I believe, I sadly didn’t get her name yesterday) made some take and bake Brie’s for me ahead of time which was really sweet and she didn’t have to offer. They were ready when I came to pick up and the other employee there knew when I’d come to pick up. Very smooth. All of the employees at the deli are always friendly and offer to help pretty much immediately, but this experience got me to leave a review! Be sure to order thanksgiving/holiday meals ahead of time, they do get slammed on those big days.

To management, take care of your good deli employees! Everything is always super clean and I have a great experience. Front end is always friendly as well. I don’t really shop for other items so I can’t speak for the rest of the store, but these two depts nail it from a customer perspective.

It may be above average in prices, & the selection may not be as broad as other grocery stores, but their customer service was INCREDIBLE!!! I swung by here to buy some flowers for my girlfriend, on a Sunday night, & I received such great service!

Andy, working the cash register, asked me if I needed any help & assistance. After I chose some flowers, which didn’t look too great, he had Ashley help me; Ashley, is the florist & was working in the bakery to help out. They were both so helpful!! After a week, my flowers still look great!! Thank you so much guys!!!

We have used the Fresh Market to cater my companies client socials and everything is awesome!

Recently we needed a turkey for a last minute staff Friendsgiving. Everyone was out of them and couldn't get a turkey to us until the week of Thanksgiving. I spoke to the manager and accommodated our last minute request. The turkey was cooked to perfection so moist and juicy it was hot when I got it.

The staff is very professional & they definitely exceeding our expectations. We will be using The Fresh Market for our future events!

I've shopped here off and on for about 20 years. Everything is top of the line. Store is extremely clean. There's always fresh coffee that rotates the stores own brand. They have everything from plants and cards to wonderful varieties of fish and a smorgasbord of meat. You will pay a few pennies more here, but the difference in quality is well worth it. There are clean restrooms and soft music. I hate going to grocery stores, but not this one!

I love Fresh Market. Your organic, natural type of grocery store. They have a bakery section. Most items taste so fresh. One time I wanted to surprise my coworkers with muffins. Not at this location but to the one in Roanoke, VA I placed an order 2 days ahead and was able to get the muffins I wanted. They were excited. That's when i discovered you can place orders ahead of time even for cooked food ahead of time.
Back to this location, customer service is welcoming. A produce guy saw I had what he called a bad banana in my had and refused to let me to take it. I told him to me it just looked brown and I was going to get it home and make a smoothie. He said "Ma'am you go shop, I'm going in the back and find you some decent looking bananas." Sure enough he found with some great looking bananas.
Thank you Durham location for going above and beyond. By the way, they have an awesome vitamin section.

Great deals each week in the deli and meat counter. $5 sushi Wednesday! Delicious rotisserie chickens for $5 on Thursday and family meals for $12 on Sunday. They have produce I have never heard of before. Bulk snacks and nuts are a favorite! Sometimes things are sold out because they are truly a fresh market.
