Enjoyed going to a coffee shop that has a story to tell and it’s easy to tell this coffee shops story the second you walk in!

Retired Gunnery Sargeant Waters, a.k.a. ‘Muddy’ and his wife deliveries coffee & eats with the same care they gave the Corps! You are sure to feel welcome, like visiting an old friend.

His business supports the Marines at New River & Camp Lejeune and the plaques of apperception adorn the wall.

Was at New River Marine Air Station visiting my son, a member of HMH-464, when I chanced on Muddy’s! Great coffee and a chance talk to Gunnery Sargeant Waters, a.k.a. ‘Muddy’.

I did my standard QC test with a double expresso, and I wasn’t disappointed!

Great prices, coffee, and even better Rueben sandwich. The potato salad had great flavor and it completed a great lunch. I appreciate shops like this and hope to see this place live a long time. Will be back and recommend to my friends!

I love grabbing a quick cup of coffee and a bacon, egg, and provolone croissant from here. I love that I can call ahead and pick it up quickly and the sandwich is always delicious!

Muddy’s is the most cozy and welcoming coffee shop in Jacksonville. The entire staff is so kind and wonderful. Tony made me a surprise coffee the first time I came here and has made me the same exact one every visit since. I ask for that “magical coffee” he makes and he labels the cup “magic” every single time :’)

Best chicken sandwich I've ever had. A huge amount of delicious chicken salad. I'm looking forward to trying the Reuben next. 5 star for sure.

Drinks were made quickly and taste PHENOMENAL. This is only my second time going there, but both times have been amazing. Stopping by before school or work to grab a coffee is always worth it. Cheaper than Starbucks, and it tastes better too.

If you haven't stopped by already make a plan to! Their coffee is served super fresh with so many flavors! The owner is amazing and has the best recommendations for any 1st time buyer!

My husband and I decided to try a new breakfast place every day of the week and we have been going back to muddy's ever since. The croissants are so buttery and flaky, the coffee delicious as well. Also the staff are so friendly. I have recommended to all my visiting family and friends.

This is genuinely the best coffee place I’ve ever been to. I got an iced mocha and a ham, egg, and cheese croissant and it was amazing. And the people were very nice. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

I love to come here before grocery shopping to bribe myself into actually going! The staff is always so friendly and personable. Their lattes are delicious and I crave their blueberry cheesecake croissants all the time, they also have good breakfast sandwiches and muffins!

They have great drinks and very polite and friendly people. Price is good to. Definitely a return in the future for sure. Thanks Muddy's!

Sandwiches are amazing here. I am not a coffee drinker but some of the folks in my party said that it was excellent also.

The best thing about Muddy's would have to be the staff though. They treated us like family and were very personable and made the experience something worth going back for over and over.

LOVE IT!!! I always get the pb and j with chips. My mother got the egg salad sandwich she loved it too! My father got roast beef sandwich he loved it tooo! The coffee is amazing it is not like Dunkin'donuts coffee ,it is real coffee! The owners are very nice . I have gone there with my dad since I was 4 .I will definitely keep going there , and if you are new in town and you want real coffee you should definitely go there!
