I have been looking for old stainless steel mess trays. Having no luck at all. Stopped at Saigon Sam's to ask. Lo and behold, he had them. Bought four. Serving Christmas dinner will be epic for my old Marine Corps friends. 😂 I just wish I'd thought to ask about knives, forks and spoons.

Ordered some double stack pouches from them. Very good quality, shipping was insanely fast, when I had questions and asked, the customer service was great. Just ordered sidearm magazine pouches from them, cannot wait to use them!

What a great experience. The gentleman was awesome to chat with and share stories with. His knowledge was on point and he was very attentive. Wish I had more time to chat with him and browse through his rows and rows of product. I was there as a vet looking for some souvenirs and I felt like prices weren’t bad at all. Will definitely be back next time in Jacksonville

Great quality, affordable pricing

Came in on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Drove in for my son's graduation at Camp Geiger and couldn't resist to come in every day to buy something. David W. is a wonderful asset to the store. He know about each and every item. If you come in describing what your looking for, he know exactly what it is. Cant wait to visit again in 3 months.

My son left for Geiger and forgot his dress shoes..called and spoke with Candice and she had them waiting up front when he got there. After 25 years I forgot how great this place is! Thanks alot !

David, whom I assume to be the owner, was super friendly and very helpful. He has everything in stock you can imagine. His store is well stocked with tons of merchandise. The store is clean, and well organized. Prices are great!

Great place ... The gent behind the counter knew what I was looking for before I even asked, I said that he must be a mind reader he just laughed and said maybe ... Just moved down here and had not been in Jacksonville in almost 50 years the town sure has grown. Great store, super staff.

being a civilian and going to Saigon Sam's I must say they were very very helpful and Lady working there actually took the time to show me a lot of stuff in the store they have a lot of survival stuff as well as military stuff I would definitely recommend anybody that moves down here and I was in the military to check them out definitely can save you some money that's a really cool like antique style military stuff.

The other day I unwittingly walked in 5 minutes after they were supposed to close. The man on duty told me to come in and even helped me select an item I was buying. Great customer service!!!

I like the big one at 1970 Wilmington Hwy. If you can't find it just ask its there somewhere. We where 20 minutes past their scheduled closing time and I didn't realise it. The guy at the counter (sorry, didn't get your name) was courteous and helpful and didn't try to rush us. I go every time I'm in Jacksonville, NC.

Sam's is a military surplus shop with lots of new items. This store reminds me of the old military surplus stores as a child. Plenty of items both new and old, if you respect the military and what it represents in our country you don't want to miss this shop. Worth the visit.
