Vacasa Customer Service

My family and I rented a home outside of Franklin,NC and the house was great. However, we forgot our laptop in a very specific place in the home and didn’t realize until we unpacked at our house. Contacted Vacasa customer service and they made us pay an additional fee to even look into it, then would not call us but every time we called they said that they haven’t been able to locate it and make notes that we are frequent callers. The homeowners were great but the Vacasa rental company has been horrible.

Jeff’s team listed our home on Vacasa this week after a 2 month delay. There was poor communication from the beginning, and we should have taken that as a sign to not proceed. The property was finally listed on Tuesday. We had prior bookings from when we managed the rental via Airbnb, and these were all provided to Vacasa multiple times for them to put into their calendar. Despite asking them and receiving confirmation of all of our scheduled bookings, they failed the very first test. Two hours before our guests were supposed to arrive, Vacasa placed a guest that was unhappy at their original booking into our house. Thankfully, we discovered this and were able to start dealing with this, but our guests that were booked many months prior are now not able to stay at the house. When asking Jeff to provide a remedy, he was extremely condescending and was unable to get the guests out and have the property cleaned. I highly recommend finding someone else other than the fragmented team led by a disrespectful manager that is unable to take ownership and correct his mistakes.

Literally the worst company I have ever dealt with. Hours on the phone to just simply get verified after they already had my money. The house was not in good condition and I waited for over an hour trying to reach someone with no luck. They don’t care about the customers.
