Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar

Good food! This place has a really cool local, sports bar & restaurant atmosphere. I recommend the Flo’rilla. Shrimp quesadillas with all the trimmings. The food was hot and tasted outstanding. There is was more than just oysters, so if you like seafood check this place out.

Had diner last night with family. I had raw oysters and the wings, flavor was recommended by server and he was correct these were delicious. Wife and kids had chicken tenders and fries and had no complaints. We also ordered the fried pickles which was a hit. Not the ordinary sliced pickles these are pickle spears cooked perfect and more importantly the kids loved them. Our server was personable, prompt and kept our drinks full and checked on us regularly. Restaurant was clean, plenty of tvs and not overly crowded. Highly recommend for drinks and apps after work or sit at the bar try some raw oysters with your favorite beverage and watch a game!

Excellent spot with plenty of parking. Food and it's presentation was outstanding. It is hard to find raw cherry stone clams but they have them. The red Horse radish sauce is excellent adding more spice option with raw radish and red pepper to add if you want too. The food like the fish and chips was well done but moist with light non greasy batter. Enjoyed it all.

06/24/2023- WOW - today's food and service DEFINITELY got my 5 stats!!!! Painkiller drink to start, grilled shrimp nachos AND chargrilled oysters!!!! I'm IMPRESSED and STUFFED!!! ReOpened -UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT !!! Attended "soft opening" , so the staff was still learning- only reason for 4 stars. The restaurant is clean and neat, with high open ceiling, providing good air flow and ventilation. Staff was helpful and courteous. Food was very good, came out very quickly, especially for a first night open. Can't wait to go back and utilize the outdoor seating and listen to some live music when it's offered! Great dining opportunity on the "far side of town" - Love the location- I don't have to drive into all the hustle of downtown for good seafood and entertainment!

This makes my second time of eating here since they have reopened. I understand they opened under new management which I was not aware of until today. Dustin our server was polite, attentive and quick to respond to our requests. The food was prepared quickly, served hot and was very tasty. The oysters on the half shell were superb and I would recommend they to any one. I give this establishment a big thumbs up and I will be returning soon.

Absolutely delighted with my experience at Shuck 'n Shack! The atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly, and the seafood was incredibly fresh. I savored every bite of the oysters, and the shack's laid-back vibe added to the overall enjoyment. Can't wait to return for another delightful seafood feast! Wow!! This place was fantastic. The food was spot on and great atmosphere. They have a very high ceiling that really helps this place seem larger than what it really is.

They have high and low tables for different groups of people. They do have seating for larger groups.

When it comes to kids menu options, they are limited and they are capable of making things not on the menu.

They have a good selection of seafood and have a few non seafood options but are limited to burgers and chicken tenders. They do not have any vegan options either.

Overall, great experience and I highly recommend this place.

I'm from Chicago visiting family in Jacksonville, NC. We went to the Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar close to closing and ate the last 41 or 41 steamed oysters they had along with shrimp and other delicious appetizers. The food was awesome!!!

This location is under new management, and it’s made ALL the difference! Dustin was our server and made our experience wonderful. He consistently checked on us, was incredibly polite, and served in a professional manner. The food was cooked to perfection, and we will definitely be back.

My kids and I had a great time here. Our server was super sweet to my kids and the food was fresh and quick to come out. We ordered calamari and fish and chicken tender basket and it was all hot.

Been here a few times and have had a great experience every time. The food is good. The staff is friendly. Perfect for a date night or hanging with friends.

Growing up on the Chesapeake bay I'm super picky about my seafood! It was perfect! I would says my eyes were bigger then my stomach But honesty the portions are huge!!

The atmosphere was incredible! Our server LIV.. was on point at all times Not sure how she does it

The food was delicious we had the oysters (which were fresh!), fried pickles,
and the steam pot. The server was wonderful, very attentive! Had a couple drinks and watched the game. Definitely coming back!

Dinner here was an excellent choice. My family and I were greeted immediately and checked on frequently. Our drinks were never empty and our food came out hot and prompt. The customer service sealed the deal for me. Awesome establishment.

Heard Shuckin Shack was under new management and decided to give them another try. What a difference! We tried the low country boil, shrimp basket and shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits were my favorite with the chorizo sausage! Keep the good work. I’ll be back sooner than later!

I loved the food there. I got their shrimp and grits and some sweet tea. The grits were hot and on point along with the shrimp being fresh and a good proportion.

Super fun family dinner spot . Oysters were phenomenal they just melt . The staff were so kind and knowledgeable of their menu . Excellent first experience. We will definitely be returning soon

This was our first visit to Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar. We had a really good visit. The food was great, and our server, Dustin, was very attentive. We will definitely be back.

Awsome appetizer sample, especially the dip with garlic toasted rounds. It could be an entee by itself. Great fries with the huge Shrimp Poorboy. Dressing was spicy on the large Shrimp Louis salad. Will be back soonest!
