Mid-Columbia Libraries - Kennewick Branch

Always a great experience for my children and I. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The place is always clean and they are open considerably later than the 9 to 5 hours.
If they dont have what you are looking for... they will get it from another library within a day.
You can also try the Libby app if you want to use their services without even going there.

I remember coming here as a kid growing up. it's a nice place, played runescape on the computers back in 2005-ish. The building has been there for years and years and years. they have a nice outdoor garden too, complete with a water pond. Overall, great very well designed library.

Great place lots of open space to study and relax

Our library is a very comfortable space for all kinds of users. "LEGOs at the Library" is a great event for kids!

First, I might say, what a beautiful library is very clean, organized, quiet and friendly.  Before I even got in, I noticed you could return your books outside in the drop boxes, which makes it nice if you don't have time to go in.  Well, the reason for my visit is I wanted to get my G.E.Dso I was hoping they had a book that I could check out to help me study. They did the G.E.D test prep 2022-2023. I haven't been to the library in years nor do I know my way around one (which I hope to eventually learn) I'll admit not a lot has changed in the way you check them out although they do give you a magnet and a key ring card now which makes it nice not having to dig for your card oh and let me mention that they even have a selection of cards to choose from, I went with the mountain view so beautiful.  Veronica is the one that helped me check out so nice and friendly and did a very good job explaining everything to me, even explaining about their website, which I'm about to dive into.  After creating a pin with Veronica it was very easy to login into my account from there I couldn't believe all the amazing stuff you can do and research, I even put a book on hold and they messaged me when it was ready to pick up which was within that hr. So not knowing much about the library I went back up there to ask about this book And where it was put on hold low and behold there was a rack and in alphabetical order, they were all placed how nice and convenient. Also, when I was leaving, a lady was sitting charging and might have even been using Wi-Fi. That's so nice and helpful to so many, so thank you, Mid Columbia Library, for helping so many out. This place is high on my recommend list!
UPDATE: I went there today to see if they could help me print out a return label, and with no surprise, the young lady was so helpful and walked me through the whole process. It's amazing what can be done with technology. 👍Also, i figured it would cost something, right? Nope, you get 5 free prints a day (I think she said a day), so thank you, Veronica, for being very patient and helpful every time I come in. Have a wonderful day!!!

I LOVE this library with their large selection of availability, in the library as well as online/digital.

The Kennewick library is always clean, librarians are friendly and helpful, cute kids play area and large computer area as well as private study rooms.

There's also a park nearby with a roller skating rink/hockey rink, kids playground, water play area, basketball, tennis courts, and beautiful rose/flower garden to walk around.

You can rent movies you can rent a book the staff was friendly and nice the library is big and spacious there's a park nearby. We need more libraries like this one

Love our public libraries. Free wifi and study rooms you can use to focus on getting things done.

Nicely kept facilities, well maintained building and grounds. And having knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff available has helped me save time. The self check out is not only fun for my 4yr.old but it's also fun for me as a mother to watch him as I see his selfestem building. There are really neat rocks to discover as we walk the grounds to the park. However we always replace the rock where we found it so another child may have the same neat experience. In short, Lol, we love it here!

I always love this place. The staff is courteous and helpful. They offer story time and crafts. Some ladies here can call my kids' names. They even have automatic renewal on the checked out items. I love to have a café here and it certainly will make me hang out more. But at this point, I am grateful for what I have with this library.

This library seemed to represent the Tri-Cities priority for a clean access to multi-media archived data and books. Five stars for the Kennewick branch.

Working here from out of the state came in to get a couple papers I needed printed off and they print 5 papers free A-day how nice is that. Plus I have amazing bookshelves I like this place

Finally opened up, with curb-side pickup. Login and place a hold of the item you wish to check out online, drive up to a designated pick-up parking spot, give them a call, they will verify your card number and a few minutes later will bring your items out and place them into your trunk. Very much appreciated service. Thank you library.

We love the library. The park is one of our favorites!! It has a beautiful garden, it has fun activities for all ages. Very clean and well kept.

Very well organized library layout. Very easy to find the genre we were looking for. And we loved the book sale today. Got some amazing books for a great price.

This library has everything! And if you have kids and they’re bored of the library you can just send them to the park that is literally just out side the door. In the park there is a splash pad and a playground equipment. Great place for summer fun!
