Pump Track McAllister Park by Velosolutions

It is one of my favorite places to frequent in San Antonio. The track features a much faster top speed than any other track I've been on. It's excellent for beginners and pros alike. Although no matter what skill level you are, you WILL fall. For bikes and scooters, it features some fun transitions and a step down. For skateboard and skates it has amazing capabilities for some immense speed(just ensure you have at least 56 mm wheels as anything lower and you won't have a good time on the asphalt.) There's a post with a bike bump(although it's broken) and just about any tool you could possibly need. There's no shade at the track, so for hotter days dress accordingly. There are public water fountains and a restroom with plumbing along with portable restrooms nearby.

Would HIGHLY recommend researching skatepark etiquette before going though. I've seen countless people get hurt for not following the flow of the park(primarily very small children whose parents don't care of are forcing them to be there)

Also highly advise avoid parking next to people. I've gotten several large door dings from people's kids slamming their door into my car. Someone even ran into my car with their bike.

The track is volatile like any other park. Some days, it's the most frustrating experience of your life, and other days it creates cherishable memories.

1st time had A-blast. Can't wait to hit it up when it's cooler and I have a few people riding with me.
Looks like you can triple that section but the gaps are a little large. Gonna take a few tries for me to clear them, can't wait to get the track dialed in.

Great place to ride your bike for practicing skills or for fun regardless of your age or the bike. We’ve ridden it a dozen different times. Sometimes it’s crowded and sometimes there’s just a handful of riders. Seen kids as young as 3 or 4 years old all the way up to a couple of old guys like me. The track is brand new and easy to ride. But there is one part that’s not the best geometry for pumping. I don’t know why but nobody I’ve seen is able to generate good speed in that one section. My 8 yr old enjoys it and you can watch him learning to ride it on our YouTube channel.

I absolutely love this thing! It's the first ever concrete track I've ever been on and now I feel so spoiled that I have access to it! If you're weary of it, you've got to try it before you say no!

Great. Well made. Highly recommended. Workd class design. Plenty of parking. Plenty ty of bathrooms. Not enough protection from the sun for spectators.

If you want something to do with the whole family, get on your bikes and ride the pumptrack...any bike any skill level will be able to enjoy the ride!

Perfect for all age groups. Took my child there to have fun and learn about track riding.

Bring your skateboard with the biggest wheels you have. Roller skates and Blades for street!

love that the NE area has a public pump track. I hear there's efforts to put one on the NW side of SA. I heartly endorse this idea.

If you take your kid here, please make them wear a helmet. They will fall.
