Towne Lake Park

Awesome place to fish, take kids to the park, play horseshoes, volleyball and even can rent kayaks. The park is clean and very nice.

Great place in Mckinney to go for a walk with family the kids, the dog,a friend beautiful lake with ducks and birds. There are also a playground and hidden trails. We enjoyed a great picnic by the water perfect for a nature getaway.

Love this neighborhood lake/park!! Nice walking trails (sidewalks) around the perimeter of the lake. Gorgeous views of the water & trees. This park is right across a high school and I felt safe walking in this area. There were ducks as well as a sand volleyball area for rec.

Great place to walk, rent a cayak, practice disc throwing, organize a picnic with friends or family or just relax.

I've been going to this lake since I was a child. I love it here. The new park is great and there is another one back by the nature trail. The sidewalk is now really well lit the whole way around for evening runs. Also, my kids absolutely love it here. We like to feed the ducks and watch the turtles sunbathing along the edges of the lake.

A fun place to walk, run or enjoy your day /evening. Lake is huge and there is a runner’s track and a trail nearby . Slides and swings are safe for kids .

Nice park, clean and clear walking paths. I took advantage of the more wooded hiking trails.

This park is beautiful and has a little bit of everything! Pavilions, 2+ miles of walking trails, play ground, and volleyball nets!! My family and I always come here for a nice stroll or for a picnic.

This is a nice quiet park over by the high school. I've went a couple times just to jog and walk a couple laps around the beautiful pond with the two fountains, people come with their babies, dogs, and bikes. There's a playground, a place to play volleyball, and several covered pavilions, + bathrooms.

It’s a good place to have relax time.It has play area for kids , Vollyball court and long trail.You can use the grills in this park and enjoy your get together. Fishing only allowed and no other water activities.Also, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset view here.. Nice place to take a break from your regular routine and spend sometime with nature..

Nice little park. I was there for a 5K race and didn't have a chance to look around too much. It's close to North Central Expressway but the sound of traffic was muted.

Nice place to go for a walk or to run around the lake to get some exercise. I saw lot of people playing disk golf here.

My favorite park. The nature trails and the path around the lake are so peaceful.

This place has it all, a scenic place for walk, a trail, wooded area, a lake & picnic spots.

Best and favorite Park in McKinney, Texas!! Filled with trails, a small lake, and tons of fun and events! Definitely need to add to your places to visit in Collin County!

I love this park. It's so clean. I always go when I want to clear my head. I love watching the ducks swim in the lake.

Wonderful park to walk around the lake. Picnic tables and benches are all around the periphery with nice views.

Great park in the Historic area of town. Great views and amenities. Playground, fishing dock, baseball fields, and plenty of wildlife. Also, lots pf events held here like Trick or Treat on the Trail!
