The employee was very nice and honest. I haven't tried the delicious looking one that she recommended yet. My daughter loved the fried croissant.

A friend told us we needed to have these donuts when visiting Chattanooga from PA. And they surely didn't disappoint! The flavors we each tried were amazing! These donuts are something you must experience!

A great gourmet donut shop to treat yo'self! Plenty of variety, and prices are surprisingly cheap. We even bought a half-dozen to fly back home and they made it largely unscathed in our checked bags!

Cute and cozy shop with an excellent selection of delicious donuts! Lots of space inside for lounging comfortable while you enjoy your good-- including a sweet gas powered fireplace. Will come back!

Ignore the kitsch, these are some of the best yeast doughnuts in the country. They are exceptionally dense in a pleasant way with a great assortment of fresh flavors without being excessive or pretentious. The prices are still out of the 1980s and some of the eclectic seating proves it. A+ worth all the carbs :)

Oh my goodness! All the doughnuts are good though we had our favorites - peach, blueberry cheesecake were there top contenders (and the salty caramel!) And we tried at least 15 flavors. Oh we liked the pancake and bacon one. We forgot to try the Samoan. Service was great and prices reasonable.

Biting into this donut brought back a forgotten memory of donuts when I was a kid. These are more dense and chewy than most donuts today which I usually think are too light, air-filled, and dry. I also love their fireplace and cozy vibe.

Great donuts, every option is a good one. The 90+ coffee tote IS still available after all (turns out they just happened to be out of stock when I went), making this a one stop shop to totally crush your meeting snack game!

I love finding locally made doughnuts when we are travelling! And yes, that is a bacon doughnut. I ate it. It's all gone now. But you can go get one too. In fact, you should get one. Also have Bavarian Creme, Granny's Apple, Cream Cheese, Red Velvet, and Strawberry Cheesecake.. you know, for when the snacksies start begging for attention later.

The shop is small and unassuming. They make it all in house. All the equipment is viewable from the ordering counter. Parking is available in back and at any of the city parking lots. Our box and a Soda ran us about $12 usd. An excellent value for epic doughnutness... stuffed pastryness? I need a better word...

This is the best donut shop we have ever been to. We have been coming to it now for 5 years even though we live in Florida!!! Amazingly fresh donuts and awesome selection of unique doughnuts. Try the doughnut sundae they are great!!! I've had the apple pie filled doughnut with carmel sauce and vanilla ice cream with bacon pieces on top!!! It was heavenly.

More of a traditional style doughnut shop anyone can walk in here and feel welcome. Not that I have any issues with the higher end hipster catering shops that have sprung up (and gone away), but JD is a no frills kind of place. Their actual doughnuts are closer to an old fashioned than a raised yeast, and their flavors are pretty unique and not something you’ll just fine anywhere. Some of them are more common options (my chocolate covered is a vanilla cream filled) but the lighter covered doughnut was a chocolate cheesecake filled. Both were good. The location has plenty of seating and isn’t hard to get to from downtown Chattanooga.

Their darling donut holes are absolutely amazing. I cannot express how highly I would recommend them. They are spectacular.

Amazing donuts and ice cream. I got cream cheese filled with Blueberry cream cheese ice cream. Cool place to hang out. Inside & outdoor seating.

Great little donut shop. Definitely recommend stopping by if you want a delicious donut to start your day. We really enjoyed the salted caramel donut and Samoa donuts. Easy walk to the park as well!

PEANUT FREE DONUTS! Whenever we are in town, we always make sure to stop at Julie Darling Donuts! These donuts are to die for and with the restaurant being nut free, I always feel safe!

First time customer and I loved the variety and the vibe there. And the donuts were wonderful!

Yum! So many flavors available, really creative and delicious options. We went mid day on a weekday and they still had everything to choose from. Banana split is pictured, we also got key lime pie, granny's apple pie, orange Creamsicle, and somoa. Definitely will go again if I'm ever in town!

Phenomenal donut shop! Plenty of variety, friendly staff, but above all the quality is just outstanding. Highly recommended!
