Exceptional, knowledgeable, Psychiatrist. She has helped me out in so many ways, through so many years. I would recommend her and her staff, to anyone, needing mental health help.

Carmen is the best! I’ve been seeing her for almost 10 yrs....I felt I was about to hit rock bottom until a friend recommended her. She is a great person all the way around. She saved me and brought me back to the person I use to be....She also sees my son who has a share of his issues and she is a fighter when it comes to him....she believes in him and despite how difficult he may be she has not given up on him and still continues to work with him....it’s a slow process with him but because of her he has came a long way!! A big thanks to Carmen who has help me and my family a lot...I have became a better person and a mother to my kids!!

Carmen has worked with my mentally challenged daughter for 3 years. Whereas other psychiatrists only wanted to see my daughter every 3 months, Carmen worked with her monthly to get the medications right. Carmen also cares about how the medications may harm the body and works to find alternative medications for the patient's safety.

Carmen has been wonderful with my daughter.

I LOVE CARMEN!!! I have been seeing Carmen for 5 years now. I have nothing but love for that women! She is the most kind, compassionate, understanding, and just all around amazing individual that truly cares for all of her patients. If this review was just about her, it would easily be 5 stars.

The only thing that really upsets me and the reason why this review is 3 stars is that her receptionist, Mary-Anne, is a very stuck up person... any time you need something, ANYTHING, she acts like it's an inconvenience to her and never fails to make a rude or unnecessary comment about it before she does anything for you. She also cuts you off, rushes you, and doesn't listen very well at all.

In the past, Mary-Anne has actually failed to relay very important messages to Michelle (another provider who was covering for Carmen at the time) because she is scared of Michelle (from what Carmen told me). What if this was an urgent matter? You HAVE to go through a receptionist because they don't have an emergency line anymore.

I've been dealing with small instances like these for years and have been so patient and quiet but I'm getting very fed up with it. I shouldn't be reluctant to contact my psychiatrist because of her receptionist. If you work in these kinds of facilities, you need to be willing to help and listen to patient's concerns, it doesn't matter if you're a receptionist, a janitor, or a doctor.

Trey on the other hand is FANTASTIC! I wish he worked every day instead of her.
