Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salt Lake City South - Murray, an IHG Hotel

I went for training and our company uses this Hotel without hesitation! For the price it definitely exceeds its services and has an incredible breakfast! All of the staff are awesome people well-trained well-mannered and very knowledgeable!

I've come to really like Holiday Inn Express & Suites. I've never been disappointed. I paid about $150 and it's understated simple modern clean and comfortable. They also gave me a quiet room in the back and recommended a local restaurant. In fact, one of the reasons I picked this hotel is easy off and on the freeway, lots of amenities nearby, safe neighborhood, and a Costco gas station nearby to boot. But don't forget their hot breakfast! Yum.

My check in was very easy. The Young lady Nadia remembered me from the company I work with as now I'm back working there and we use this hotel when in town. Amazing comfortable rooms. Comfortable hotel. I love this place.

I was traveling with my 91 year old, wheelchair bound, hospice patient mother on the night of 28 Dec 2023 relocating her from UT to WA. After a very bad experience at the Midvale Holiday Inn with a pre-booked room (you can go read that review for details) we ended up leaving in the Uhaul and found the Murray Holiday Inn.

Let me just say, go to the Murray Holiday Inn, ask for Charlie. You can't miss him, he is a mountain of man with a big heart and a friendly spirit. He gets customer service and is compassionate. He went out of his way to take care of us!

This is amazing place and safe location to stay in. Amazing staff and specially Julian who has been amazing and helpful, importantly courteous. He is really an asset to the company and he is the only reason it’s all 5 stars here.

I had an amazing stay for 2 nights. Breakfast was great. the staff was helpful and nice, and the hotel itself was clean. It looks like a newer building built in the last 2 to 3 years, so it had everything new inside. I will definitely be back when back in town for work. Highly recommended.

My job has me traveling all over the country and my first time in Utah this motel is very comfortable! Diane the front desk clerk was very helpful and very nice! I would highly recommend this home away from home!!

I've always loved staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. The rooms have refrigerators, microwaves and Keurig machines. It's close to the freeway so it's easy to find. The only bad thing is that it's really close to the freeway. Protip: request a room on the south side of the building. There will be less noise and you won't have as much trouble with the flashing billboard next door at night.

The hotel was very easy to get to from the freeway, the staff was helpful checking in, the room was comfortable, and the beds were amazing.

Great stay. Super convenient location for a ski trip or central to the Salt Lake Valley for work. Rooms and pool area are in need of a little minor maintenance but this has likely just been a busy ski season.

Holiday Inn Express is one of our most frequented hotels in the mid-range. This HIE has great rooms and beds and is conveniently located next to the interstate. The staff has been friendly and very accommodating.

Access to the hotel was relatively easy, as long as you are in the far right lane coming off of the freeway. Clean, comfy beds, friendly service, and an actually good breakfast.

10+ stays here! This hotel and its staff have been great to work with. With family in the hospital we stayed her for over 16+ nights! Clean, modern, safe, free parking, free breakfast, clean grounds! One of the best places to stay for when a loved one is in the hospital or even just need a bed for the night.

Not a far train ride from the convention center. The room was super nice and clean and the service was good.

Check-in was very easy and the rooms were clean and we'll made upon arrival. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms adequate. Shower heads were a little funny but shampoo and lotions were from Bath and Body Works. Breakfast in the morning was a good sized spread for a continental breakfast and the coffee was decent and didn't he trick. Cinnamon rolls were delicious. I would definitely consider staying here again.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. My room was cleaned, cared for, and properly stocked with what I needed. The breakfast was delicious and the pool area was very enjoyable. The staff members were polite, and helped me with everything I needed. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

This place is absolutely amazing. 5 stars hands down! The staff is always super helpful and kind. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious and always in top top shape. Complimentary breakfast and coffee, the pool is really nice and the fitness room is awesome! This is a very clean place and I feel relaxed right when I walk through the doors. My number one hotel!

This has been my reliable for a couple trips now to Salt Lake City. The pool is always full of kids and the neighborhood is always full police. Tells me it must a bad neighborhood. They are always harrasing us as we drive to get something to eat... flipping around. Tailing us... always around the hotel. It's weird. The hotel it's self is nice, the breakfast is decent, and the front desk is friendly.

Great place to stop and get some rest. Feels and looks clean. Great Customer service as well. No complaints about the rooms either. They look and feel clean as well. Breakfast was a plus. Their pancake maker is oit of order. But that didn't matter for us. They keep everything pretty well stock during breakfast as well. Definitely would recommend.
