I have been a customer with Greater Iowa Credit Union (formerly ISU Employee Credit Union) for over 25 years. I have always had the best customer service; two employees have gone above and beyond. Finny Gray has been there more times than I can count to assist with my family's banking needs. This week I had an issue with my debit card, and Kim Wipperman went the extra mile to assist me and fixed the problem in a half-hour that had been an issue for a very long time. I am very happy with all the services at GICU.

I had great service with Finny for a refinance. She was efficient and easy to work with. There was great communication as to the information and documents needed to complete the transaction.

Customer service at the West Des Moines branch is top notch. When I needed special services I was attended to almost immediately by the branch manager because others were busy. Cynthia was very pleasant and proficient and answered all my questions with clarity. I was very happy with everyone at the branch who helped me.

I recently reached out to GICU re: a loan for a used vehicle. Althair Peralta and the rest of the GICU team were responsive and patient, enabling us to complete the process from start to finish in record time! Thank you, GICU!

Currently have 3 loans through GICU, 2 vehicle and a personal. For the personal loan I found myself in a situation where I needed a substantial amount quickly in order to cover funeral costs of a family member. They were happy to work with me and the same day I reached out to them I was able to secure the loan and get the funeral home paid. Website can be clunky in a few spots but overall it is easy for me to make payments and it provides the details I need. I have been very happy with my GICU experience and will be looking to continue working with them in the future.

Ive had nothing but great experiences with Greater Iowa credit union. All the employees have treated me great and with respect. They gave me a loan when I had no credit at all. They are great people all around.

This is by the best bank that I’ve ever felt like a person and not just a number. They are very helpful, friendly and patient. Not just inside the branch but via email as well. It’s like having a personal banker by your side.

The process and getting A car loan was seamless. I will be here now and in the future. For all of my cars and houses, customer service was awesome and Didn't waste any time and we're very polite.

I was having a problem figuring something out on line and they were able to help me in a fast and very friendly manner. I've been with them over 30 years and can't imagine a nicer group to take care of my money.

I have been a member since I was ten years old. My parents were members from 1963 to 2021 when Dad passed away. Through all stages of life the credit union has been there. The staff at all of the branches are friendly and know you by name.

I enjoyed my experience at the Ames branch. The person that helped me to open an account was very friendly and thorough.

The staff at this location have helped me navigate through rolling over my 401K. Everyone I have dealt with at GICU has been friendly, professional and pleasant.

Makayla Alvarado was an absolute pleasure to work with. Everything was done by phone/email and she made it practically effortless. Kudos to GICU for having such an amazing eLoan representative. As well, as every financial institution should, GICU views motorcycles as vehicles when it comes to loan rates. It is a mode of daily transportation. It takes quite a bit to sway me from a CU I've been with for 15+ years, but GICU did it this time. All around great experience!

I am a longtime member. The knowledge and courtesies of the GICU personnel, past and present, has been, and remains outstanding.

I have been a member of the Greater Iowa Credit Union for more than 30 years. I have had share accounts, share draft accounts, car and truck loans, and a mortgage loan. I have never had any issues with any financial transactions. All the staff I have dealt with over the years have been extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I appreciate Jade at the south Ames branch for being so patient with me and explaining thing so well. She made it easy when I moved my accounts from my bank in Wichita to GICU.
