Just a spud was absolutely delicious,
chicken caesar salad that my daughter had was good.

12 in French dip was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend that for anyone that comes here.

The spicy turkey melt was not terribly spicy it had excellent flavor I like avocado so I thought it was great.

Macaroni and potato salad sides were excellent.

We all agree that we will be coming back next time I will try the Reuben.

Love stopping here for a bite! Workers have always been pleasant every time I have been here, even when they are busy during a rush.
The menu is quite large with lots of options to choose from. I usually end up getting the Southwest Chicken Sandwich which has ALWAYS been delicious every single time! And usually I order a side of mac n cheese as well, which has typically been that great creamy cheesey goodness you expect for mac n cheese. Today I ventured off my usual path and did a half sandwich and half salad. I tried the southwest chicken avocado salad for my salad & I was thoroughly impressed with how filling this half salad was and it looked fantastic & FRESH! Chicken was cooked perfectly & thinly sliced so it was able to be eaten without a struggle. I was hesitant to try the chili lime vinaigrette dressing it came with, but I'm glad I forced myself to try it. It really took the salad to the next level. I don't typically like vinaigrettes (or limes) so this is saying a lot!
I also tried the Oreo cheesecake today - huge win. Pure delicious ruin all the healthy food you just ate but it was worth it goodness!!
There is quite a bit of seating here & feel like it has always been clean and taken care of during my visits. The restrooms are single person stalls, which also have been clean every trip I've had to use them.

So much food!! And great choice of options too! Fast and friendly service! Prices are awesome for all of the food you get! 5⭐!

Great food! Decent price. Staff seems tired but they are always busy and I think short staffed like everyplace else.

Broccoli cheese soup is amazing! I love this place! So many gluten free options! I stop here once a week. Their app is a great way to get discounts and free food!

Friendly staff food was hot and fresh and the drinks were cold. The consistency of McAlister's you visit is always great.

I love their food here, it’s light and fresh and of course my favorite thing is the strawberry lemonade!

I am very thankful this establishment is in Council Bluffs Iowa. My whole family loves the food here, as there is a selection of sandwiches, soups, and sides that fit the tastes of kids and adults alike. I usually have such a difficult time making my decision on what to order, but the turkey bacon ranch sandwich is tough to beat. The mac and cheese is one of my kids favorites in the entire Council Bluffs-Omaha area...and I would consider them Mac and Cheese connoisseurs. :) I have never noticed dirty tables like mentioned in the other reviews, and in fact, I actively see an associate quickly follow up on cleaning a table when a guest has left, so I feel like they are taking that seriously as well. If you have never stopped into McAlister's Deli, definitely make the stop soon as you will be thankful you did.
